343:Move focus away from HALO 4 to focus fully on HALO 5 to prevent HALO 4 again

343 343 Industries issued a new Halo Bulletin Thursday where it announced that Halo 4 for the Xbox 360 is now officially in a sustain mode as the studio turns its attention fully on Halo 5 for the Xbox One while also teasing something else. "Were working on projects that you know about (the TV show and Halo Xbox One) and others that you dont (insert absolutely zero clues here)," she teased. "Our team has blossomed from a few dozen to a few hundred, and it continues to grow at a healthy pace as new people are hired to make sure every team has more than enough resources to do their job, and do it well."

Can't wait to see what 343 does with the next Halo. If they can have more interesting level designs than the terrible ones in Halo 4 it should be a great game. Also, keep that ordinance shit out please. mems_1224

Better custom game (and forge) options + custom game lobby search = Halo competing heavily with COD again.

It's been said again and again, but they won't listen. Competitive Halo is stressful, and for people who like to play alone and not communicate completely unbalanced ( other than FFA). People play COD because it's easy and fun. If people are able to join others non-competitive maps the playerbase would be way bigger.

Hopefully they get rid of Spartan ops and bring back Firefight.Visagerome

Nice bulletin. So rocket race will finally be playable.And I like what 343i is doing wiith the future of halo 4 especially with spartan ops.

So far it looks like ordinace drops have a good chance of not appearing in the next halo game because 343i recently added a no ordnance playlist to infinity slayer.

343 is very involved with the community, much like Bungie was during their Halo days, so I have hope.

They played it safe(r) with the campaign while absolutely destroying the MP.

Hopefully it's just as good as 4.

Halo 4 was a very good game but Halo has lost its novelty and most of all; its spark. I barely even played Halo 4 compared to the hundreds of hours in Halo Reach. I hope 343 can bring me back to console multiplayer. Stevo_the_gamer

I'm almost positive they did.

It wasn't there at launch, but 343 has some weird way of rotating in playlists every now and again, but I'm pretty certain FFA slayer is there... That or it might just be a FFA playlist that may occasionally give you Slayer as a choice to vote for.

Halo, Gears of War, God of War, Ass Creed. 

Devs need to go make something new.

Good.  While I do like Halo 4, the multiplayer just isn't what it could be.  Some changes were steps in the wrong diretion and I'm glad to see 343 are adding new playsits without Ordance and stuff like that.  I just want a fun, balance multiplayer again.  That being said I loved the campaign, but the levels could have been bigger and it could have used more variety.

Meh, I thought Halo 4 was a pretty freakin spectacular shooter when all was said and done. Sure, it's lost some of the magic but I'd say that's attributed more to most if not all shooters having lost their magic at this point -- because well, they're shooters and there's not much new to be done under the sun. Not at all disappointed in what was put out though. Halo is still a powerhouse.
