Dose that mean Sony made an agreement with MS? i mean sony was the one who made Blu-Ray and so they own it right? so my point is no one can use Blu-Ray untill Sony aproves it right?

great news for blu-ray. i really dont want to stream or download my media only anytime soon. so m$ making a move to promote blu-ray is a good thing. it really hasnt taken off yet as it should, once george lucas commits to blu ray and re-releases his movies on blu-ray. than we can move to streaming media.

Absolute fail. The expensive accessories that have been released proves how outdated the Xbox 360 really is. Instead of creating an updated sku with built in wifi and blu ray drive, they take the easy way out once again by attaching dongle after dongle. Hopefully by 2012, Microsoft will have implemented better thought in creating their next console.

And this new 360 wont be comming out next year either,they dont even know when theyll release it,and i said this in another thread,I wouldnt be surprised if the ps3 out lasts even the next 360.In this case the cicle will repeat,360 release another console,ps4 comes a year later and once again is more powerful.

I don't think there would be any benefit to releasing an BD add-on this far into the gen. MS should just release a new system in 2011 that uses a Blu-Ray. New users wouldn't bother with it because the PS3 has it for the same price, and stand-alones are like $130 now.

If they sold it for $100, then I could see some 360 userspicking it up. Otherwise, bad idea.

HD-DVD movies were every bit as good as BD movies concerning quality. Also, DLHD-DVDs were 30GB. Not that it matters.

False. Sony and Pioneer invented blu-ray. Phillips did nothing. Sony and Pioneer have the biggest say in the blu-ray disk association because they have the biggest shares.
