Do not buy. Take a pro for 150 or something, arcades are worthless. You can't even go on XBL with 1/2 the games if you use one.

$100? what are you waiting for? Go use it up on donuts and pizza and miss out on Reach and GeoW3. Textures on donuts are TrueHD.

If you want a 360 get an Elite the Arcade isn't worth it.

I would get one, I already have a 360 and a PS3 and they are both worth owning. Do not listen to these people that say you have to buy a HDD, they seem quick to forget that if you have a thumbdrive that you can use that instead thus overcoming the only real issue with the arcade model.

I just got one for $30, if you're lucky you might find one even cheaper. Works great too as far as transfer rate goes.

Can you install things on a flash drive? If not, it's pretty useless. If you can only save games, then you might as well get a small flash drive.

No one should ge the arcade you need a pro or better. Save up a bit more you will thank yourself for it later. And yes the 360 is a must have just like the Ps3 is a must have and a Wii is a must have and the Pc is a must have.

I picked up a 120gb 360 Elite (ODST/Forza bundle) for $215 today. I hadn't really planned on getting one, but once the old skus dropped $50, I was sold. I already had some 360 games, my brothers and friends have 360s, and I had already purchased a bunch of Arcade games on my brother's 360, so it was just the time. I've missed playing co-op with people I know, and now I don't have to worry about it anymore. :)

I would get it. Even if it's an arcade, you could always buy a HDD later. Actually, Gamestop is having a promo for people trading up to a "slim" so you could go buy like a used 60GB for around $40-50 so it's a good deal

I thought about doing that, but I just don't think I could trust a used hard drive, especially since it could've been a modded one some fruitcake traded in. Or do they test them? Even still, I don't trust used electronics unless I know who had it before. They're too easy to abuse and people's stupidity is limited only by their lack of imagination.

I'm thinking that HDD prices will be go on clearance when most or all old 360s are gone from store shelves, so I'll wait it out. There's no way I'm getting an HDD at $50 for a 20 GB after spending only about $100 on a 360.

You can't mod harddrives only the systems and just erase the hdd when you get it.If it messes up within 7 days return it to gamestop for full refund.

Gamestop prices are rip-offs, though. You might as well just buy an Elite bundle if that's the only other option.

What how are they a rip off they sell everything the same price as others and give you special deals. You sell a game at a store that buys used games you get the same thing gamestop gives you.You buy a gaming accessory from a store same price like in gamestop and the used are cheaper.

I honestly haven't seen a flash drive that doesn't work, but if you don't have it yet, and you're buying online, I would check the comments first just to be sure. When you put it in it should ask you (or go to the memory section in My Xbox tab) if you want to configure it for your 360.

you can use usb memory sticks now, so you do not need a hard drive, you can get on xbox live, and you can get on all games with the usb memory stick functionality now.

no you dont have to do any thing special you can use any cleanly formatted usb flash drive the system will go through and test it then format it and such so it works with the 360.
