360 boys make me laugh, so your basically getting a PS3 in August from M$

You guy's crack me up, i've seen 2 different threads on the main page about this new up coming 360 incarnation being released in august, with it's now built in Blu-Ray player and smaller, faster graphics chipset. Hmmm sounds like another familiar black console already on the market (Hint-Hint).So basically it's taken Microsoft all this time and trouble enduring, replacing, and fixing their Red Ring of Death unit, to finally realize, " hey we'll just copy Sony " and that way we'll have a much better console...Hey that's great, by all mean's 360 boys celebrate, rejoice in the fact that you support a company who's engineers can't figure out how to build a next gen console the right way so their going to copy the next best thing...genius

Brief Microsoft History Lesson

1) In the 70's Microsoft purchased, not created purchased the DOS operating system from a guy for $50,000

2) In the 80's Apple buy's Xerox's G-raphic U-ser I-nterface operating system and Microsoft steals the O.S. off an Apple protoype and turns it upside down and calls it windows.

3) 2005 Microsoft releases a new incarnation on their 2001 Xbox with their Xbox 360, plagued by the infamous Red Ring of Death and now 2008 it still remains unfixable so Microsoft will use nearly identical hardware equipped in it's competitior's Sony's console to finally correct the problem. Wow you know this is a great country when a guy (Bill Gates) can drop out of Harvard and steal or buy his way to the ultimate fortune using everyone elses ideas and products and calling them there own.Oh yeah that's a company i want to support...LOL.

well they can't make blu-ray games microsoft would have a huge lawsuit on their hands if they shafted the intial install base of the system but blu-ray movies is a diff story, plus i already got my ps3 to do that

It hasn't reached PS2 levels, but it's doing all right. Out selling X360 worldwide monthly at least :P

M$ doesn't care much about innovation, or trying to push gaming foward. Dinero is all that matters. They're trying to take over gaming...no, everything really, and as easy and quick as possible. This is no surprise.

There's been a rumor going around last time I checked up on this.

first of all Microsoft is not making a new console with blu-ray..its to late into the console war and that would upset many 360 owners who already have the console..they didnt even make hd-dvd built in so im pretty sure at the most they will make a blu-ray add on. highly doubt M$ is come out with a "new" console with blu-ray this summer, maybe on the next console they make.

its in last place because it came out a year after the 360...but for the past year its been outselling the 360 and is slowly catching up in sales

i see we have a true blue lemming here, and trust me blu-rays arn't about as popular as UMD's trust me i know plenty plenty of people who have Blu-ray players, not just PS3's so don't just type jibber jabber
