Wow..that's amazing. Five times in a row. It amazes me how long can you keep a piece of junk going. I would've just gave up w/ M$ customer service and bought another 360...or the PSTriple. ;) Links below:

Has anyone on this site had their 360 break down more than this? I wanna know.

i remember reading an EGM a while back where some guy wrote a letter saying he broke 11.

I dont remember if EGM thought it was actually true or not -- it was a really old issue.

Knowing my luck, I could beat that record easy.

My Wii has been sent into Nintendo of America three times for repair already. Just got it back today as a matter of fact.

Such an unfortunate pair. The 360's failure rate is like..what...? 33%? I'm pretty sure the Wii's is no where close to that. *sigh* ...I feel sorry for you guys...I really do... :|

Ouch.

Memo to Nintendo, Sony, and MS. PLEASE don't ever rush your hardware to the market EVER again. I know only MS did it, but I just hope they and everyone else just doesn't ever do it from here on out.

lol yeah, but they give you a new 1 year warrenty so i guess its cool -- plus my first Wii died from overheating (heatsink issue), second one they sent me had a loud disc drive to begin with, third one is fine but seems to have the same heatsink issue -- i just leave WC24 off during night and most of the day now.

What? Only 5 broken 360s? That's nothing. Try 11.

Hah, that's funny, because when I got my Wii back the third time around, it already had slight DRE issues that got worse over time.

First time it broke though was entirely my little brother's fault :x. He dropped it and got DBZ:BT2 stuck in it.

I've been battling disc reading issues ever since, but the one that just arrived today is flawless. So I'm happy...
