360 COD4 is better than the PC version

In motion the game looks better on 360

The controls on the 360 felt very SOLID. But on PC it's kind of floaty and it feels really broken. There's not really a sense of weight or anything.

The PC single player demo sucks, the 360 multiplayer demo rocks.

COD4 is a good game, but only if you get it on 360 or PS3.

Played the demo, seemed very fluid and had no mouse lag as some X-box 360 ports tend to have. Ran really smooth too, very well optimized.

can you use the 360 controller on the pc version??? if so it will be exactly the same..

i did this with bioshock and its just like playing the 360 version but on steroids.

The idea of PREFERING a 360 controler over a mouse/keyboard blows my mind. Ignorance toward the mouse/keyboard is pretty much the only thing i can pin it on.

Anyway, played the Beta, and played the demo. It certainly looks better on PC (though it doesnt look spectacular regardless) and controls are a given. Plus the PC has 32 player servers....

Its no wonder as they have all been playing Episode 2 and UT3 demo.

And no the PC version is superior. They are the same game - the PC version has better visuals, and controls.

I dont think Iward made each version seperate, and more 'fun to play'. :roll:

I thought the PC demo was pretty good.

Graphics were pretty bad at points, but I was running it on lowest settings.

Funny I was just about to come on here and start a thread about this.

I have tried everything to get this gam to run better on pc then the beta on 360.

To me both are kinda gross in different ways.

Yes my pc can handle the game unless now everyone is gonna say this game is better then crysis maxed out.

Smoke effects on pc version are not even close to the 360 version, however the number of AI on screen at one time in pc version with no framrate issues combined with everything else going onis quite impressive. Keep in mind people we had what 12 players max on beta for 360 and game seemed to have a few hick ups when there were most of us in one spot especialy when a chopper was flying high above or an air strike was on the way.

All in all though to me the game is not superior on either machine. LOL at the guy who said this game a graphical generation ahead of 360 version, dont listen to him kiddies he is just a point and click noob and hasnt even touched a 360.

We shall all see when game gets released and we can try exact same mission on both versions.

Until then it really isnt a fair comparison.

Wasn't the PC demo limited to "normal" in the graphics options?

Anyway I didn't play the 360 version but I doubt a controller is going to change anything and you can be sure that the final version of thePC will have slightly better graphics. The core gameplay in that game is a dissapointment. After playing games like R6V this game feels pretty old. Can't say I was ever a huge COD MP fan, I doubt thtis is going to change in this version.

I'm predicting a 8.5 across the board.

Man people say the darnest things these days. When it comes to FPS PC always controls and looks better with the exception of that abomination of Shadow Run. I see my thread still hasn't reached out to some of the lesser informed people. That thread has lots of people praising the game as well.

*le sigh*

When I want your opinion, I'll eat your brain. Until that day, refrain from pointlessly bashing the PC.
