I recently posted a forum that was comparing the Xbox 360 wireless controller to the Dualshock 3. I finally got a chance to feel both and I noticed the PS3 trigger buttons are awful, and the analog sticks are loose.

Are there any issues with the triggers?

if the 360 controller had the DS3 dpad and pressure senstive buttons and shoulder buttons, it would be perfect.

The triggers are a bit slippery but they are never really used for primary functions in games. The sticks are awesome

I find the PS3 controller to be incomfortably layed out, the triggers are somewhat weak, and I think the sticks are too soft.

I prefer the 360 controller over the Dualshock 3 because it's much more confortable, but it feels a little ackward when playing a game with it. It probable has more to do with me adjusting to it since I'm so use to playing with the DualShock for so long.

The shoulder buttons are better on the PS3 but the triggers are much better on the 360. The loose analogs are not loose but they are taller and move alot more. Overall I prefer the 360 controller but if they could fix the D-pad it would be just about perfect.

I honestly wish I could use my 360 controller on my PS3. The PS3 controller is very uncomfortable, or maybe its just that the 360 is so comfortable.

You would think a 3rd party could make a ps3 controller that's somewhat like the 360 controller... at least the triggers.

I prefer a bit of weight on my controllers, and the 360 controller has that kinda grip to it which makes it nice to hold. I prefer it a lot more to the Dualshock 3 in almost everyway, but yeah. I'm not that bothered.

I wish the DS controller was a little bigger for my huge hands, and the 360 D-pad is so dang unresponsive. But I'm cool with both except when it comes to fighting games. Gotta go w/ PS3 controller for those.

I prefer the DS3, probably because its symetrical, and I'm used to the format.

I'm just a perfectionist like that. Leave me alone. >.

some people find the 360 controller too big to hold, which for me is not a problem at all

believe it or not the reason i didnt own a ps3 or ps2 was the controller. i know ive missed out on a lot of great games, but after getting my s controller for the xbox i couldnt ever go back, i still hope they make a controller for the ps3 like the 360's. I like the placement of the anolog sticks on the 360s.

Ya sony should have changed their controller design. Its too blocky. Doesn't sit in the hands quite like the 360 controller. Every hand is basically the same except for length, so I can't imagine it would be too difficult to develop a comfortable controller, not that they should have, just an observation.

The only time I prefer the 360 controller over the Dualshock 3 is if the game is a shooter. Otherwise I find the Dualshock 3 better for 3rd person adventure and fighting games.

the thumbsticks on ps3 is quite uncomfortable, you will lose the whole balance while firing the trigger.

I mean come on, It's been the third generation, making another new controller isnt that hard.
