360 darkness demo>>>>>>>>>>>ps3 demo

I have downloaded the 360 ver last week. MOtostorm resistance and sigma are great looking games. Very clear and sharp, so i thought the darkness ps3 would look better than 360 ver. Boy was I wrong, I dont know how it scored the same any one who has played both demos could tell the difference. Maybe its true 360 always gets the better multiplates. The picture is just not as clear as the 360, hard to explain but back to back the ps3 ver feels cheap in comparison.supermanfarr

only thing made 360 version better is the higher AA

I didnt see a diffrence exept for the controlls

and I liked the ps3 gameplay better.

fix the brightness of the game..the GRAW2 demo looked ugly when u 1st play it..but thats because the brightness is "0" and that makes the game look dark and so i simply put the brightness at max and darn the game looked a whole lot prettier!!!!!

so try changing the brightness..

Why is it that the 360 verison is darker?

I just watched the intro for Marvel Ultimate Alliance for the PS3, it looked awesome!! Bright, rich in color, (I can see spider's mans thread in his suit!!!)

When I brought it for my 360, and played it, the movie intro was darker, even so dark that I could not see some of the characters, but over all, pretty good....(Is there any way to increase the brightness in my 360 games?

I probably defend the PS3 because most the crap it gets just uninformed fanboy nonsense. The PS3 doesn't deserve nearly the amount of bashings it gets here. It's really pathetic. It's has it's problems, not nearly as much as the fanboys here make it out to have.

I've played both demos and found 1 difference between the two - On the 360 demo you can change the video settings to preset modes and the PS3 you can't.

Nothing else was different, oh except for motion blur that wasn't in the PS3 version. I actually preferred it that way for such a slow moving game.

its casue the ps3 doesnt do aa or has textures as good as the 360..

the darkness is a jaggy mess on the ps3..

p.s. the 360 can do aa for free without performance hits where as the ps3 cant..leading to jaggy games..its either that of fps hits

Fine, but your description of the PS3 version as a "jagged mess" doesn't tell an accurate story at all. I have the game on the PS3 and it looks fantastic.

The only difference I noticed in the two demos was that in the car part, the cracks in the side mirrors were sharper on the 360demo and that the PS3 demo was generally much darker than the 360 demo.Anoch20

Yeah same here, also the framrate was very erratic on the PS3 version, not so on the 360 version.

I got the 360 version after playing both demo's, partly because of these faults but mostly because the 360 controller works better for FPS.
