360 Elite or PS3 60gb?

I already have a wii, its nice but there are some games that will be released only for 360 or PS3, i really like the grand theft auto series, Midnight club, sports and racing games....

Im having problems deciding between an 360 elite or PS3 60 GB?

Differences

Price: Xbox is $50cheaper but the wi fi is not included (i really need the wi fi connectivity)
Games: I think that the xbox library has more games right now, im not fan of tekken or metal gear, but i do like gran turismo and god of war, however, the xbox has bioshock, gears of war.
HD: I dont need this right now, because i dont have a HDTV, so if its included or not, i dont care
Hard Drive: I need help in this part cuz i dont know if a 120GB is really neccesary?

Another questions:
- Do the PS3 or XBOX 360 use memory cards to save games?
- What would you reccomend me?

- Can you name another pros and cons?

Get a 360 Premium+ Halo 3 and Bioshock. Beat those, and pick up PGR4 and Mass Effect in the coming months.

-doen't break as commonly as the 360.

it's not that i don't like the 360, its just that i don't have the money to get both. so i think that the ps3 is the most bang for the buck.

also get Warhawk(which come bundled with a BT headset) and Resistance Fall of man. if your interested into racing games get motorstorm. interested in RGP, get oblivion. PS3 has potential, 360 doesn't.

no 120 gig hard drive will save a million games for you. 360 comes with HD componets and HDMI hook up $75 retail value, a head set $20 retail value, Ethernet cable $10 value, and way more hard drive space... priceless.

wow...the gran turismo series is not like the forza series at all... thats like saying "oh if you dont like halo then you wont like any other fps cause its just different aliens ur shooting at lol! oh eah and different music!"

if you get an elite you get a 1 year warranity for anything that happens to it for free, and you get a 3 year for the red ring of death. and that problem i suppose to be fixed in the elite.

Get Gears of War, Oblivion, Halo 3, Bioshock, Forza 2 and a year subscription to XBOX live and you will be set forever.

no i have a ps3 and downloaded the blu ray trailer and watched it on my full HD TV.

graphics are good but they dont make the game.

You can't get sigma on 360. You can get ninja gaiden on Xbox. If you're gonna bring up last gen games that got AAA on the first Xbox, then I can point out every exclusive on the PS2 that got a AAA and the discussion would be over.

Games: At the moment yes the ps3 hasnt got that many games and the games they do hav are usually comin out as flops, but remember that reviews arnt everythin. example: sum people liked lair even though the ratings were so bad

and you said that you would like to get gran turismo 5 which like previous ones will b probly ggood. From what i have heard people are sayin that forza 2 is gonna be better then GT5 cause of damage and all that stuff, BUT GT5 is gonna have all that and the weather stuff with that bein said...LEMMINGS stop comparin gameplay of FORZA 2 to a game like GT5 just cause the previous ones didnt have as much detail to GT4 and so on :evil:

and GoW is gonna come to ps3 obviously, you just hav to wait till like end up 2008 (i think)

most multiplat games are also kinda crap on the ps3 compared to the 360...but that doesnt mean they all are. example, oblivion, the darkness and sum others (i forgot just go check up on websites, i think also DiRT)

Online: I dont know much bout XBL, but it sounds really good though payin $50 for NOTHING is kinda pointless while with the ps3 you get it for free. this also comes bak to games. because games like UT3 you can download mods and upload em to PSN n stuff like that. microsoft doesnt want to expand ther service like that, they want it all kept under wrap (reason why Epic is probly pissed at em) also ps3 has got full ps1 games you can download, for a price i think its like $10...atleast thats what i have seen on PSN so yea

backward compatability: ps3 has better BC then the 360...not to mention that the ps2 still has great games comin on to it (you see up top how they dont even list the Xbox with ps3, ps2, psp, ds....exactly)

PS3 failure rate is i think below 1%

extras: everythin is in built (60 gig version, cause thats the only one 20 gig hasnt got the same stuff, but i think they stopped sellin those in some places) and also the ps3 is a blu-ray player...which is now sellin 2:1 against HDDVD in blu-rays favour.

Xbox360 -

Games: at the moment the 360 has got the better games...especially with halo 3 just released and they do have other games that are coming out in the future...mass effect, ummm NG2 ummm...halo wars ummm...i think thats all i know but comparing the ps3 2008 line up to the 360 2008 line up...the ps3 has got the better list. but games like halo 3 will obviously b played in years to come (though at somepoint it will come onto pc with more stuff)

and as i said b4 multiplats do seem to be better on the 360, but ps3 seems to be actually catchin up and showin that it can do it better

Online: XBL is supposedly really great, though from what ive heard ther are whole bunch of wankas that keep on bein idiotic online, luckly u can mute em aye lol. ummm as i said before i dont know much about it, but u will hav to pay $50 (i still dont know why) and also XBL, i think, is just full of demos and the normal stuff just like ps3 but no full games, just arcade ones which just like the ps3 dependin on if its the full arcade game you will have to pay for it and remember what i said about mods and UT3 (UT3 will be better on the PS3, trust me)

backward compatability: 360 has it **** man, not to mention that i dont even think ther makin any good games for xbox (have they stopped completely?? sum one answer please, im curious now lol) this is bad for 360 cause they had really good games for xbox, but it still does have some sort of BC, just not as good as ps3.

and last but not least the hardware of the 360...at the moment the predictions for the failure rates for the 360 is at 33%...microsoft is plannin on releasin better consoles i dont know when and i have heard that the halo themed version 360s already have been fixed, or atleast some of them. you do get a 3 year warranty but you should really think about it...

extras: umm.. i dont know much about extras for the 360...som of the 360s you have to buy more things...i dont know about the more expensive ones umm stuff like wi-fi and remember that you can never change your 360 HD and HDDVD movies which is cool

but everythin is up to you, im not just gonna say that the 360 sucks so go with ps3..the nerve of lemmings, pathetic...

It handles 1080p much better. I have a PS3 and a gold plated HDMI 1.3 cable and Blu-Ray movies are amazing.
