the problem is is that the sides arn't customizable which makes everything look wierd if you have 2 color schemes.Exactly, it just looks weird. With that said, i think stickers are cool
Most definitely. Gimmick or not though, I like the Forza 2 faceplate I was able to get for my 360. The Eternal Sonata faceplate I grabbed while I was working at GameStop doesn't look too shabby either.
yes it is. this would be kind of a topic for when it first came out. i think it is, they r a bit expensive $20 or so the skins don't look so great when they r on the 360. where the air holes are they just don't cut those out.
Oh yeah there a gimmick, my lil cuz bought me one for my birthday a while back, to say thank you for letting him play my ''shiny new xbox'' all the time...the lil guy saved up his own money and everything, didnt have the heart to tell him I didnt really want one at the time. but hey it grew on me, it gives the console a little bit of personality! :P (to say thanks I brought him Halo when he finally got his own)
I forgot all about the faceplates! I forgot the 360's faceplate comes off... LOL!!! so that answers your question. I never wanted one to begin with, they look ugly.
Seriously, is that what system wars has boiled down to? Faceplates on the 360 being a gimmick? It's not as if MS counted on them being as popular as the Wii.
