Saint's Row was good, but if I was only a PS3 owner, I would not lose sleep over it, especially with GTA 4 on the horizon.SpruceCaboose
True but playing both Saints Row and GTA 4 is better than just playing GTA 4. Different style of game despite some similarities. Saints Row is more of a shooter, which is no surprise since it comes from Volition (Red Faction)
On my way to the Saints Row forum I noticed the PS3 version of Saints Row has been cancelled. Chalk up another AA exclusive for 360. Saints Row 2 is still coming to 360/PS3 but with as few good games as the PS3 has right now SR would have been a nice addition to it's library. Idonomeus\
I dont know why the devs made this game... They need to get back to making Summoner and Freespace games. I just happen to think there is room for only one "GTA" type game.

Sort of. Playing it though, I kept saying to myself, "Its like a pretty GTA 3 with less stuff to do." I liked it, but it was, to me, a way to bridge the gap between playing San Andreas and GTA 4. And the ending was flat out terrible. It had some great ideas, and it was a solid game that I hope sees sequels pushing it bigger, but I think Crackdown was a better sandbox game, even though it was shorter (at least for me) since it did things lots different than GTA did
For a first sandbox game from them, Saint's Row was a great effort. But compared with the scope of San Andreas, it seemed confined.
[QUOTE="FusionApex"]I could care less, I don't think saint's row is good anyway.mmogoon
You could or you couldn't?
Its horrific the number of people on this forum who use words they can't spell or phrases they don't know/understand and get them completely and utterly wrong - in this case essentially meaning the opposite of what it should mean, way to go!
I really didn't enjoy Saints Row, but cows went from hating the game to saying it was good to not caring again, thats so strange, I wonder why ....
Yeah crackdown is actually fun, i hated it for the first hour or so, but now i love it lol...my only complaint is that its to easy...however on topic, saints row really sucks, its got some good ideas but doesnt implement them well enough...insurance fraud im looking at you!Kevanio
Actually, Insurance fraud was my favorite part of the game. I loved getting nailed by cars! It was hilarious.

Looking at the sales of Saints Row and Crackdown (both have sold over a million) I would say there is plenty of room. GTA is overrated anyway. GTA 3 was good but the series went downhill from there. From what I have heard about the game I do have high hopes for GTA 4 though.
