Feel free to add any pics you like
Why don't you put it in so it is right next to those pics.I will, give me a link
All of those shots do look nice. And although I personally don't like the graphics for Blue Dragon, I don think they suck or anything.... probably more of the art style that I don't like, looks like a Ninty game on the 360.... But anyway, yes, those shots all look nice... but if you've seen the HD trailers for LBP, they really aren't close in comparison. LBP looks like a dev trying to help Sony make good on their promise of Toy Story graphics and then going beyond that to make something even better.... While the shots you posted just look like games.. some of them look like nice anime at best. But why does it matter? So there's a game coming out that looks better than the ones on your system... so what? If you still enjoy your games it really doesn't matter.Sgt_Hale
It doesn't look better in any way, it just looks as good, frankly Viva Pinata impresses me far more in art too
Plus LPB is more of a tech demo than a game, it is only in 2D, i do not see a game i would like to play more than Blue Dragon there, now if they did those graphics on a RPG, PS3 would be an instant buy
You also forget that all those 360 games look FAR better in motion too, not only LBP has that privillage

Honestly you can't be serious. They all look great, and your comparing full fledge game titles to a downloadable PS3 game? First GT: HD creams the racing competition. Now LBP is matching up AA status 360 games. Those 360 games look better, but not by alot. Blue Dragon and VP have no where near the same amount of interactivity when it comes to phsyics. And LBP has better animation. In motion, i think Kameo looks better than all of them. But LBP is pretty much tied with all those games when you watch the game trailers. I mean, pics don't do the game justice. It looks so nice.Adrian_Cloud
It loosk just on par, in a 2D sense though, since 360 does those graphics but in 3 dimensions too, not 2, plus those 360 games look FAR better in motion too, in case you did not notice, those are by far NOT the best pics of Kameo too
Viva pinata animals animate FAR better as well
I've played Kameo, but i've only seen vids of Blue Dragon and Viva Pinata. Those games look really good, but the animation in Viva Pinata are nothing that couldn't be done on xbox. Adrian_Cloud
I could not say really

I could not say really
The graphics look great, but i've seen more fluid animations in xbox games. And this is the case for most next-gen games, even gears imo. If you watch the MGS4 trailer, the character animation hasn't even improved much, and this is supposed be the must have PS3 title of this year.[QUOTE="Adrian_Cloud"]Honestly you can't be serious. Um...you do know that LBP is 3D right?Well anyway i think LBP looks like one of the most impressive looking games that i have seen so far.But i wont go and say 360 couldnt do all that but ...whatever.[QUOTE="Adrian_Cloud"]I've played Kameo, but i've only seen vids of Blue Dragon and Viva Pinata. No they couldn't. The Xbox couldn't do those HD graphics.
 animations and graphics are intertwined. But they aren't the same thing. 360 can do HD though, not 1080i though.[QUOTE="LabWarrior1"][QUOTE="Adrian_Cloud"]Honestly you can't be serious. Um...you do know that LBP is 3D right?Well anyway i think LBP looks like one of the most impressive looking games that i have seen so far.But i wont go and say 360 couldnt do all that but ...whatever.Fact is that at any given frame, LBP renders 1/10 or 1/100 of what Kameo or Viva Pinata renders, i hope we can agree with that simple fact, pinata in just one view can have 50 animals, all AI driven and animated, interacting with others and water etc, plus the real time lighting/shadows, plus the surroundings that are fully 3D, and go FAR FAR beyond LBP ones that cover depth with blur than the super 10x detail of pinata
All in all, 360 can do 10x more graphics than LBP, shown in viva pinata clearly
I added those LBP pics, frankly the only thing looking better is the blur and the grass, and some nice textures, 360 could do that with ease and then someLabWarrior1Hey there, brilliant boy, the reason everyone's excited about this game is because the gameplay is amazing. Watch a gameplay video and then shut up, please.

Yes that gameplay is blilliant indeed, if you are a nerd, i mean pushing blocks around is not ... fun somehow ? Frankly it seemed like the worst game i have ever come across, tetris is a 100 times better offering in gameplay than that
360 has better graphics than ps3 its a fact. Do you see how ninja gaiden sigma's graphics are the same graphics as the ninja gaiden for regular xbox...trophylocosteÂ
yeah bc you can tell from screen shots, whatever. So far fight night and NBA 2k7 look considerably better on ps3 ive seen both! and probably more once i try them out
I think the point is that the 360 doesn't have Little Big World. Sometimes I wonder if you guys actually play games or only watch them. LBW key selling point seems to be that it is innovative, mixing co-op platformer with open ended problem solving and user created content.

you might be the most mis-informed person on the planet right now. you probably didnt even watch the trailer. they were making objects pop up and sizing them in basically real time and everything has physics. even home has physics, but you probably didnt watch when he threw the tv down the stairs either. LBP has more physics than just about all the games you mentioned while looking comparable if not better, and its only a downloadable game from the makers of ragdoll kung fu, that fact that you are comparing a downloadable game to real games only shows the quality of LBP. and how jealous you are that you cant afford a PS3 to play it.Stop being a fanboy...clearly the LBW is a killer app compared to VIVA...if you think otherwise I feel sorry for who ever is training you. Here you go

You think that matters when the game is pure crap ?

Comparing in gameplay ? Pinata is 100 times ahead, in LBP you do absolutly nothing but push stuff around like an idiot, in Pinata the whole eco system interaction is amazing
In graphics, comparing realistic looks LBP is far ahead, comparing what looks more beautifull i would say equally both, BUT comparing what pushes more the hardware, Pinata pushes 10x the polygons, is NOT a 2D scroller, but a full 3d game, can have 50 animals on screen at once, shadows/lighting from and to all that geometry, simply pushes 10x in effects/shaders/polygons than this 2D scroller
Too much of a fanboy, are you ?

Is it too hard to just say this isn't your cup of tea.
And isn't LBP being released on bluray next year?

Yes, it is not my cup of tea indeed, still it does not output more in graphics than Pinata, you can just forget that, just look 3rd pinata pic, the detail in the back is simply 10x anything shown at once in this game, it looks amazing i can agree with that, i LOVE how it looks, and if i get a PS3 at some point i will have it (the Blue ray disk version), still noone can say that 360 could not easilly do that, when it does 10x in viva pinata, and tat without counting 50+ animals on screen at once, with AI running etc
do you know what physics are ? one of the main points of LBP, and something viva pinata basically has none of. and you act like viva pinata has some sort of advanced AI, like super problem solving shoot this then that AI. its nothing special at all. and LBP is a way more impressive game.Yes, it is not my cup of tea indeed, still it does not output more in graphics than Pinata, you can just forget that, just look 3rd pinata pic, the detail in the back is simply 10x anything shown at once in this game, it looks amazing i can agree with that, i LOVE how it looks, and if i get a PS3 at some point i will have it (the Blue ray disk version), still noone can say that 360 could not easilly do that, when it does 10x in viva pinata, and tat without counting 50+ animals on screen at once, with AI running etc

lbp looks better than viva pinata.....it really does. as far as comparing it to mass effect, thats just stupid.Uptown
Not better, just more realistic, this is totally a matter of taste, but Pinata outputs 10x the graphical power used in LBP

Any sidescroller can have awesome graphics.TheCrimsonKoopaAgreed. Sidescroller games don't have a lot to render, thus allowing it to even more maximize the visual quality. Not that it's a bad thing, but a lot of fanboys take advantage of it, saying X-box 360 could do nothing like this.
