Yes, the 360 is impressive but the PC has some amazing titles as well as I would easily contest that the PC has the best lineup. Crysis, Hellgate London, World In Conflict, UT3, ET Quake Wars, Tabula Rasa, COD4, Orange Box, Bioshock, Assassins Creed, The Witcher, Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts, etc..etc...too many great titles to count.

Personally, I'm really looking forward to Mass Effect though, as I love Bioware.

If Bioshock, CoD4 or Assasins Creed win GOTY it won't be on any specific platform, as they are multi-plats.

Pathetic damage control, due to the fact that the best games of the year are mostly nowhere to be found on the PS3. 360 was the console of choice for 2006, it's the console of choice for 2007, and it'll be the console choice for 2008. In terms of non-exclusives 360s getting Haze, Unreal Tournament 3, Fallout 3 and GTA. Exclusives wise you've got Fable 2, Banjo Kazooie 3, Halo Wars, End War, Splinter Cell, maybe gears 2. But remember CoD4 was only announced in april 2007 and is being released in november, so we can expect the line up to strengthen I guess, I for one wouldn't be surprised to see a new GRAW or Rainbow Six.

I think 360 needs Gears 2 for 2008, it will still be a very good line up without it. But of the announced games none is really a Bioshock/Mass Effect/Halo 3 that will blow people away (I'm looking forward to fable 2, could be amazing but it could flop). Cept for gta 4 which isn't exclusive.

mass effect isn't just the goty, it'sthe game of the generation.

Bioshock is more than just a shooter, they have to sell it as a shooter or it won't appeal to the mass audience. Bioshock has been called better than the original half life by 1up, it's got the first 10/10 by xbox magazine, sure its xbox magazine but the highest score they've given is 9.7. Until we see a score from Mass effect, Bioshock is #1 on GOTY to be.

well that's typical gs this gen because of its lame excuse which is getting lamer every year "need a high end pc" If they say a dual core cpu and gf7900gs is highend for the bioshcok review they need to rethink what a highend pc really is

Uncharted looks like complete crap, if that wins GOTY here Gamespot will go bankrupt. :lol: Seriously I can't believe anyone thinks that game looks even decent. Heavenly Sword looks ok, but it's a laughable GOTY contender.

I'd say the PS3 definitely doesn't have a shot at it and also COD4 will be crap, the COD series is so stale, bringing it to the modern age won't put it in GOTY contention.
