with ps3 if you buy a movie and your upgrade your hardrive or delete it to make room your **** (one time downloads like apple store) WTF you bought the rights didnt you. Plus its only offered in USA

Only with 360s store you get what you payed for. And movies are offered in more places then just the usa

Don't like the MS point system only thing I really like about XBLM is free-trials. Something SONY should learn about.

You do know that you go into account management on your PS3, and go to your downloads list and it'll be in that list...Right? Yeah it is right, cause I've done it before. In fact you can actually download the same content on up to 5 different systems at a time, so long as the account is kept on each of the systems you download it for.

So that whole can't re-download movies with PS3 isn't true.

Now as far as content wise (which is what I thought this thread was gonna be about) I'd say the 360's online store does have more...I think

Yeah it is true. The way game and video content is sold is diff. With video content you can only activate 1 system and you can only download once.

Really? it the same for free videos like trailers and such? Because I'll try it with a free video to see (meaning I go back into my download list and try to re-download it there) or is it just paid vids?

If you have a Club Nintendo account, it records all your purchases.

And if you don't have one you're stupid.

Also, I would say the PS3 has the best store. Actually money as currency for the win.

Its only paid videos specifically from the video store

both the nintendo pont system and microsoft point system sucks, it's always the case where you will have 200 points to spare or something, and i know the only thing i'm gong to be able to get with that is some horse armour... but i do think the microsoft online store is the best, with demos/trials and the general set up it's really nice. the ps3 and nintendo stores are good too, but just not as good.

I never said "OMG OUT OF THOS@# CHOISES PICK PC," I simply stated that it really is pointless arguing for second place; In fact, PSN and Xbox Live have a great online store and its pointless debating which is better, there pretty much the same IMO.

And newsflash, you can connect you PC or Laptop to your TV and watch movies/etc. there.

I'm retarded because I've never used XBL points before? Actual money values is so much easier to use.

As far as store content, probably XBL. I've never used it, but I've heard amount of content is superior.

Eh, if you say so. Personally I prefer having all my movies on what system, so I just use my laptop. But overall, its a pretty equal. I would imagine because of iTunes/Other video stores on PC it would have more movies, but the ZUNE Marketplace on 360 and PSN are no slouch either.

hmm?

I thought you just needed to disconnect your PS3 and your Account and then put in a new hard drive and then reconnect your account and download again.

not that it matters. You should have gotten the actual copy of the Movie on BluRay instead of downloading it. I can redownload everything I have ever downloaded on the PS3 with no problems.

as for the Nintendo Wii I hate that if my Wii breaks I have to ask Nintendo to give me my crap back and that may not even help! despite me having a Club Nintendo Account and having everything registered.

but I understand Nintendo's Method. It's to prevent people from "Sharing" (if you know what I mean).

The 360 has Banjo Kazooie (and Tooie), Games on Demand, Perfect Dark.....

Yeah...It's more awesome than PS3's and Wii's Store... (except the Wii has Zelda and Mario...and the PS3 has classic PS1 games..)

Sorry, going to have to go with PS store. Just feels more cleaner and much more organized.

Al though the lack of free trials is disappointing but at least there isnt a wack point system.

Yes MS points are ridiculous,I had to pay 15 dollars for a 12 dollar content......Sure 3 dollars are not much, but if it keeps going every time you download something you will see the difference.

Also I,finding stuff on PSN is much faster and more organized. imo

What I like most about the XBL marketplace over the PS store is that you can purchase anything you want on xbox.com, then set it to download to your 360 when you cut it on again. This is another reason why I say XBL is > PSN.

Personally, I like the way things are organized on PSN more than LIVE. LIVE is kinda a cluster **** of stuff. Espeacilly the dashboard.

We are talking about legal purchases here not piracy. Try downloading a video from itunes and streaming it to the 360. Here is the catch though you don't have to wait for it to download on the 360 it begins to play immediately.

Why do people always use this like its a legitemit complaint? You do realise theres no expiry date on MS points, its not like once you've registered the 800 points, you have a day to spend them. If you buy something at 600, and have 200 left over then who cares. Just save them, and then next time when you load on points, they'll be added up and you can buy something nice. Its as stupid a complaint as crying about 99p stores. Bu bu ill have 1p left if i buy something

People who complain about it are too poor and can only afford to buy 1 THING. So they have to eat all their food because it might be their last for a while.

I would never buy an NES or SNES game. They don't even upgrade them one bit. Hell my phone can play NES and SNES games but I don't care.

Name two legal ways to get a film for the PC without some sort of DRM preventing it from being streamed? I cannot think of one. Yes there are many ways to get movies for PC but they contain DRM and cannot be streamed to a 360 unless you get it from Zune.

I suppose. I haven't had much time to fiddle around with the PSN store, though the games look pretty good, especially Flower. 360 Arcade is excellent, no complaints from me. WiiWare is okay, I guess. Virtual Console is the second best DD store ever made, next to Steam.
