360 has the best rpg

Lost odyssey is the best rpg this gen. All the other rpgs are in real time and that sucks. If I wanted to play in real time I would play a fps shooter. Lost odyssey is even better than ff7.

Mass Effect is the best RPG this generation so far. Lost Odyssey is a decent JRPG. It does nothing much new or innovative. Mistwalker is going to keep dishing out the cookie cutter JRPGs it seems.

yup, both are very good, I loved the main boss charecter in eternal Sonata's Voice, very sadistic.

both of those had great gameplay and graphics, but had very shallow stories imo.

Yeh i guess, i can agree that Lost Odyssey is the best JRPG this gen, haven't seen many JRPGs though. I think FFXIII looks better though.

i may not agree abt LO being the best RPG, but i Do agree that turn-based RPG is the best kind of RPGs.

Mass Effect imo. So yes, 360 has the best RPG

Valkyria Chronicles, Mass Effect, The Witcher and Demon Souls were all better than Lost Odyssey imo.

I agree jrpg's with real time combat suck. Either compete with action games the likes of Ninja Gaiden properly or use tactical turn based. Half ass rpg\real time combat systems do neither well. It peeves me off.

Also 360 doesn't have Demon's Souls so it doesn't have the best rpg's.

I agree I go back to last gen just to have a good combat system. Persona3 and press turn system are the best for tactical combat. Which is what jrpg's are about.

nah i really didnt enjoy lost oddysey apart from the music, dreams and most of the first disc

I do believe that Persona 4 did come out this generation.

There are far better RPG's this gen than LO.

Demon's Souls, Mass Effect, ToV, and Valkyria Chronicles just to name a few. Not to mention Persona 3 and 4.
