360- How can MS FIx the low texture problem with the 360?

big fan of gears of war. but one thing i notice is the texures in Gears of war 1 and 2 are just to darn low. what can MS do to help it make it look better? and do you think Trees will look better in GEOW 2?/ i sure do hope so. the ones in Gears of War 1 look bad.

If you compare to PC, yeah, the Consoles aren't as good, but enjoy what we have, it's pretty good.SolidTy

What did you expect them to say? Oh Gears that game we released last year, looks better than our new one. Just marketing, IMO gears looks a lot better.

you might be jusyt picky with bad teztures like me. I still think Crysis high textures arent that good

gears 1 doesn't have the best textures on consoles, a quick glance at some old screenshots will tell you that. Even Soul Calibur 4 has higher resolution textures. At the time though, Gears 1 looked amazing.

The texture things really has to do with the engine, the amount of space on the disk, and the capabilities of the 360, not with Microsoft. they can't just upgrade the GPU via XBL or something, although they can improve it's pipeline, but it wouldn't yield drastic changes.
