I agree with #1 and #2, those issues are hurting the 360.

1) Yes systems are still RRoDing, but it's decreasing so I would hardly say the 360 is going down the drain.

2) This was an add on and doesn't impact the gaming portion of the 360. Additionally MS stated several months ago that should HD DVD fail that they would likely release a Blu Ray player.

3) This would be your opinion, not fact. The same could be said for the ps3's 2007 lineup but that didn't stop it from selling. Also, cows said the same thing about the 360's 2007 lineup and anyone that isn't a fanboy can see that there were a lot of great titles.

4) Blu Ray was the winner as of today, so how exactly do you know that ps3 sales are skyrocketing? Yes, sony's stock has increased and this will likely encourage more people to get a ps3, but it's a little early to say that sales are skyrocketing.

Lastly, you may want to check out Yo_Foo's earlier posts. His flamebait was amazing and his threads would usually go on for about 20 pages. Just for future info before you start another thread.

Actually you're wrong. In comparison tests in regard to load times and pciture quality, the PS3 out performed many of the stand alone players. Additionally, with the 3 different standards (1.0, 1.1, and 2.0) the PS3 is the ONLY current Blu Ray player that is upgradeable.

What's funny is that the cows can't quit talking about the RROD at the GDC, and yet a couple of years ago when PS3 were overheating at some show, it was because of the stages lights, being in an enclosed area, being overused, etc. I'm not saying that there isn't an unacceptable amount of RRoD's, but come on.

Wow. I'm really confused...Is the 360 in 3rd place, sales-wise? Has it been consistently outsold by the PS3 in all major markets? Does it no longer have the largest and most diverse library of games? Have most 3rd parties jumped ship to develop on other consoles? Does the 360 no longer have any good exclusive/console exclusive games on the horizon? As far as I know, the answer to all of these questions is "no". The PS3 is having a fairly bright period, but I don't really think I'd call any recent news back-breaking to the 360, at all. And Gears of War 2 would be absolutely huge, no matter when it came out. But just as Sony has learned, one game won't make or break a system. MS needs to worry about more than whether or not GeoW can carry the console; they've got to continue to appeal to people the way they have been.

I agree, that's how it should be, but sadly it's not. Any gamer that comes on here and shows that they prefer one console over another is automatically labled a fanboy if someone disagrees with them.
