LIVE makes the biggest difference in the world. the 360 also has gears of war and alan wake. in no means is this gen good, it actually sux, but honestly, 360 has the online and you need it in 2010. but im no stranger to online gaming, started with starcraft 1 back in 1998, and continued cs from 1999-now. screw sourcethisgensux

360 is a great console, but I like playing online for free.

Both systems have their good and bad points that I really don't feel like explaining right now, but nither system is better but I do believe that the PC beats all because all consoles are small PC's, you can play a PC game with equal if not better quality than any Xbox 360 or PS3 game, I also perfer the games for the 360 but that's just an opinion.

People try so hard to make LIVE's price justified, but I guarantee if MS provided a slightly less streamlined and no early demos or no cross party chat option and let every gamer play online for free LIVE's revenue would plummet. Alan Wake has been in development for 5 years, large budget, was supposed to push the XBOX 360 hardware....no doubt AAA aspirations.

In terms of receiving AAA scores its a bonifide flop as it sits at 84 on Metacritic.

As an owner of both, PS3 has way more games that suite my tastes. and the hardware is just better built, i like not having to be forced to install games just so that i dont have to hear the fans going nuts.

Normally i would agree, also 360 does have the deepest, most complex and longest games by far and not just overhyped linear shooters and actino titles that last for a day or less

BUT after playing FF13 best version and now Demon Soul that is fantastic on the system, i can at last admit that PS3 is a must have, of course 360 is way ahead indeed, but you do miss a lot without a PS3 for sure
