Haha, well I don't think there is any reason to get excited just yet. It has sold more than that in the past and then dropped back down to 2k or so a week. Sales of Tale of Vesperia will be very interesting. I just hope to God that it beats the wii game so NB decide to make the future games on a real system i.e the 360 or PS3. The wii game didn't even crack 200,000! Even worse than the original GC game did.

Infinite Undiscovery will also be interesting because I just know it will have a huge marketing campaign behind it. I want to see if it beats Blue Dragon or not. Maybe it will at least beat Lost Odyssey's abysmal sales.

I will hopefully see them in concert again very soon! I was at the UTADA UNITED 2006 concert in Saitama, the one the DVD was filmed at, 10 rows from the stage, it was amazing. Not as good as Ayu's miss(understood) tour of course!

I don't know about that, it is being made by Compile Heart and their first 2 PS3 games bombed very badly. Agarest Senki which was some form of RPG/adventure/dating sim hybrid was pretty awful in all areas. Just because it has a bunch of names attached to it doesn't mean it will be a success. It has names, that's all. Nippon Ichi, Gust and Capcom are not creating the game they simply licensed their characters to the game. I love how people think Japanese gamers are robots who buy anything that is an RPG.

I have X-EDGE on pre-order along with IU, PS3 Trusty Bell and Otomedius Gorgeous but I am waiting to see what kind of score it gets from famitsu to see if I want to buy it or not. I think the system follows Gust's games which should at least be a big improvement from Agarest Senk. I hope there will be a demo.

Haha, yea it was pretty amazing, a dream come true actually. Especially for Ayu! I missed out on Coun tdown Live! 06-07 tickets though, I was very sad. They are incredibly hard to get!! I also wish I could have gone to the 10th anniversary tour..

For some reason Japan devours those kinds of games where they either mix series, or join characters from different episodes of 1 series.

Games like Jump Superstars, or DON, or Tales of the World (PS2 was mini games and never saw the light in the USA. The PSP version was a traditional Tales game, called Radiant Mythology, and was released). Cross Edge though looks like a cool RPG. For some reason I love the sprite RPGs, must be nostalgia from my younger days with FF and the like :D

Well in terms of games they have, but they really need to improve their advertising. Now I have never been their but from what I have seen from the internet its not good.

i think it happen once..... the world did not end and everything went back to normal. the 360 selling more than the ps3 for one week out of 52 isn't something anyone should claim ownage on. it actually sad

Of course the PS3 is bombing! It is barely making 45,000 units a month! Sure it reached the 2 million mark but software sales are still pathetic as is 3rd party support. Sony need to drop the price down to 29,800yen if they ever hope to gain on the wii because as it stands, there are no more MGS4s coming in the near future to perk sales again. Even THAT lasted apathetically short time... FFXIII is still nowhere in sight.
