360 Minecraft upgraders to X1 get free games: News Flop

After the release of the new Minecraft game for Xbox One, Microsoft now has good news for players of Minecraft on their Xbox 360 consoles-Xbox One upgrade for $4.99 only and they would get one game for free. This offer is only available for those who had the chance to play the Xbox 360 editions before because for new players, the amount they need to pay is $19.99 in order to enjoy the new version.

To qualify for the Xbox One upgrade offer, the player must have his own Minecraft retail disk for Xbox 360 if not, have the digital version then log in to his Xbox Live account. Once done logging in and having the Minecraft:Xbox 360 game attached, that’s when the player will see that option to take advantage of the $4.99 offer.

The Xbox One version is a greatly improved Minecraft version which offers amazing features like amazing graphics, 360 larger worlds and split screen.

It looks like Microsoft is not yet finished with its plethora of surprises for the players who take part of the Xbox One upgrade promotion. In the United States, those who buy the offer between OCt 7 and OCT 13 will be given one free game with each Xbox One game. They are given choices like Watch Dogs game, Titanfall, Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition and so much more that you can put on your lucky bag.

Are u sure the deal is referring to the buy a Xbox one system between sept 7 and 13 and get a free game deal from last month? That's a hella good d al if I just gotta pay 5 bucks to upgrade mine craft and get another freegame..

The way they are hyping it up the Mojang (moe yang) buy out was in talks way ahead of time. it seems like the Xbox one version of minecraft is going to be a different game.

And while the majority of dedicated fans are on PC, 10-15 million of that is on Xbox 360, so that's nothing to snuff at.

Got all these kids learning about Minecraft from videos on youtube, and they see all these awesome mods, and then after they ask their parents for Minecraft their parents go and get the console version.

What does MS have with the date the 7th through 13th? Two free games deals two months in a row on same dates lol

So wait I'm supposed to believe that if I spend $5 to upgrade my 360 version of Minecraft to the XBone version one (which is already a great deal) that Microsoft will give me another free game? It's hard to tell because the original article seems to be all over the place (and seems to be written by a 13 year old fanboy if you ask me personally).

I'm guessing they are confusing the buy an XBone console and get a free game promotion from last month? Anyone know for a fact that MS is just giving away a free game for upgrading Minecraft (pretty doubtful)?

Wait so I read it but I may have missed it, but can I buy Minecraft right now on the 360 then upgrade? I've been thinking of getting the game either way so this would just sweeten the deal. If so how much is the 360 version? I know the XBO version is 20.

I thought that sounded to much like the buy a Xbox get a game deal from last month. Spending to get minecraft on 360 xbox one and another free full game was to good of a deal.
