Dammit I jsut cant decide wat to get? I like to play sports games, and adventure games, but I also like to play fps on pc, not on console. I want a system that can play all the genres I like.
I have enough $$ for only one.

Unless you have $2,000+ to spend on a PC, I would go with the 360. Personally, I like playing my 360 better than my 3.8GHZ Dell XPS.
I see your sort of deadlocked on your genres there.
Well, I'd say there's probably more Sport games on the PC then adventure (if you mean the pure adventure genre) on consoles. And you can always use a gamepad for those games too.
Cost is also an issue, you'll probably need to spend a hundred or two more on upgrading your PC.
I would say get an Elite 360 because I'm a Lemming? No, because I think you'd really enjoy it.
The controller might not be as easy to use as a K&M, but once you get used to it, the not having to use WSAD to move and the feedback from different weapons, more than makes up for it.

There are virtually no adventure games on consoles.
Action adventure however...
I'm afraid I don't understand the difference. To me, Zelda would be an example of an adventure game, as would Kameo. Could you elaborate for me?

What he said, and fps should be played on the pc only. Playing fps on console is just yuck...

Zelda and Kameo are Action Adventure.
Adventure is like Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, Broken Sword, etc.
If you have the money, I'd recommend a PC. It will cost you a bit more up front, but you will have access to the largest library of games, both old and new. Plus you can do more with a PC outside the periphery of gaming.
Many Xbox games are coming to the PC too, and they are less expensive and usually have more content and better performance too.
Edit: If you get a brand new PC, DO NOT GET VISTA YET. Use XP for another year or so until Vista has its bugs and performance ironed out and drivers for other hardware become better.
