360 or PS3? which do you have and why is it better.

i have a 360. for me i like the feel of the controller more and the contol layout works for me. i actually dont like motion sensor (can be turned off i know). When GS did a graphic comparison, 360's graphics were crisper. it makes me mad because sony copied microsoft so many times.

As a multimedia hub/modder's dream - PS3

As a gaming machine - 360

For these reasons, in theory I would prefer the PS3, but Halo 3 trumps ALL.

I have both, and they're both equal. There's nothing about either that is glaringly superior to the other.

Well, except the B/C. I can't play my one Xbox game on my 360.  

I have a ps3.

From a  features standpoint, it beats the 360 easily (blu-ray, linux, upgradeable hdd, Home). 

However, it all boils down to the games, and the ps3 will have more of the games i like.  Action/Adventure (J&D, R&C, Team Ico games), hack and slach (GoW, Heavenly Sword), stealth (MGS for me, not a fan of SC)), and unique novelty games like LittleBigPlanet, plus enough of every other genre to keep me content.

I have an Xbox 360. I chose that chiefly because of it's game library, many great titles to play, both with exclusives and multiplatforms. It has the best online service going and top end graphics which is icing on the cake.

PS3 has some really good games too like Lair, Heavenly Sword Eight Days, MGS4, but X360 has more of the games I want to play (Halo 3, Gears of War, Halo Wars, Lost Planet, Dead Rising, Forza 2, Kane and Lynch), as well as having many of the games PS3 has (RB6 Vegas, VF5, DMC4, Oblivion, GRAW 2) - all at a better price that I can play them. 

I like them both. And they both like eachother. My PS3 and 360 are best of friends. They just hate the Wii.Ultra-Alue

When GS did a graphic comparison, 360's graphics were crisper = not true!!! I own both and I believe the PS3 is capable of better graphics.

This is how I break it down.

Right now because of game selection only 360 is better.

In 6 months PS3 will be better.

PS3's hardware kills 360's hardware in reliability and performance and what you can do with it.

360 has a better online and game lineup at this time. PS3's will catch up in time.

Depends if you have a media center pc or not.  If you do, I'd give the multimedia hub advantage to the 360 because of it's dvr and computer streaming capabilities.

I used to think teh higher the price tag the better it was but now seeing the PS3 failing I think the 360 is better becuase

* It has Games.
* Its cheaper than the PS3.
* It contains all you need to play your games.
* I can play with my friends easily and keep in touch, share news and opinions
* Technically its slightly better than the PS3 (and its cheaper)
* The games interest me, I dont like Platformers Jrpgs or realistic driving games. I like Rpgs, First + Third person shooters, Action/ Adventure, Stategy, some driving games, and MMOs oh and Sports games.

Depends if you have a media center pc or not.  If you do, I'd give the multimedia hub advantage to the 360 because of it's dvr and computer streaming capabilities.

Not with DRM and Microsoft policing bullcrap.  PS3 is pretty wide open.  Still, the best multimedia hub is the original Xbox.

Microsoft is not the first operating system to use a gui.
Microsoft did not make the first console.
Microsoft did not invent rumble.
Microsoft charging for Live like they invented the internet.
FPS did not start with the 360
RPG did not start with the 360
Microsoft is not the first operating system period.

Just to be fair. Sony may have copied, so did microsoft.
