360 Owners. When is enough going to be enough?!

GDC is less about games and more about the technology. Don't expect much in the way of announcements - though there may be a few. Why not just wait until E3?

To be honest TC they dont have to jump ship and from a topic i have read here before,most 360 owners also have a PS3

and MS still has not announced any other new core games other than footage for Gears and Forza 4HelghastXtreme

In the real world people don't care about exclusives they just buy what appeals to them, when a game is exclusive to a certain platform that they don't have and it appears to appeal to them they just say "Oh dang" or "Wow, I need a ps3/xbox/pc/wii".Fightingfan

I don't care about the exclusives, I play mostly multiplatform games which are generally better on the 360 than the PS3 anyway. You PS3 fanboys are obsessed with exclusives. :?

Im not like most younger gamers; when I finish a game even if I have all the achievements I still go back and play it if I like the game. For this reason alone it is still worth me owning an xbox but I will admit I don't have much planned to buy on it in the next year... most multiplats I will be getting on my PC now with the exception of ME3 (save transfer). Im not buying a PS3 with all the online issues it has at the moment.

Why are u so concerned about it? About them? People you dont even know and will probably never meet in your lifetime? Just play your PS3 and dont worry about 360 owners. :|navyguy21

When determining which console I buy, I look for exclusives and features so I can separate each console and figure out whatappeals to my tastes. Who blindly buys a console because it 'just plays games and stuff':roll:

If GDC rolls around and still no new core games announced then E3 comes and MS still has not announced any other new core games other than footage for Gears and Forza 4, will even the most die hard of 360 fans consider getting a PS3?! I mean it must kill you guys seeing all these awesome core PS3 exclusives and on the 360 side nothing, nada, silence. I mean what will it take to finally jump ship and get on the PS3 bandwagon? Especially if PS3 cuts the price this year which is expected (atleast a $50.00 price cut)HelghastXtreme

My 360 collects dust in a closet. I would sell it if it wasn't for Gears 3. And by the time that comes out how much will it be worth? It's not even good for movies. Can't watch netflix unless ur a goldmember.Pray_to_me

the way ps3 exclusives keep flopping, i wouldnt brag too much about the almighty ps3 exclusives. i love the ps3 but the exclusives other than infamous 2 and Uncharted 3 dont interest me. so the way it breaks down for me is, i have Infamous 2 and Uncharted 3 for the ps3 this year, and Forza 4 and Gears 3 for the 360. thats a score of 2-2. so they look pretty even to me. then when i throw all the multiplats on my 360......:D

I love when non-360 owners try to pass it off as they own it, give some bogus gamertag and get proven to be fake. In some cases they'll make up some other gamertag supposedly forgetting they changed their name or something stupid.

Why would I quit playing multiplats and already released exclusives like Reach on 360, and move over to PS3, just because there aren't 10+ exclusives announced currently?

Sorry, but I'm sticking with the 360. I have no reason to quit playing it. None.

Oh man, because the exclusive line-ups for systems are so compelling. :roll: They're all the same thing.

Is it my fault the games I'm most excited for Anarchy Reigns, Deus Ex Human Revolution, The Elder Scrolls V, Dark Souls, Shadows of the Damned, FFXIII-2, The Witcher 2 (OK, that one is exclusive actually :P), Rage and more. Almost all of them are multiplatform releases (I won't play them all on my 360 though, PC is going to get love too). You point out any first-party release announced this year that isn't Gears of War (crap) or something similar to it (Uncharted) or any stupid shooter that claims to be an RPG (Mass Effect) and I'll gladly say, "But you are so correct, how could I have been so blind not to find a non-stop barrage of sequels to games already available from a year or two ago anywhere near as compelling as the games I actually want to play! :cry:" The coolest looking first party title this year from any publisher is The Last Guardian, but I'm not going to go out of my way to buy a system just to play one game.

Enough is enough when games I don't feel like playing stop releasing on my platform of choice and from there I can always fall back on PC and Wii. :roll:

Being a Long time X360 owner but i have to admit there's nothing coming out for it this year.. bit of a shame really. tbh if this trend continues i'm going to probably cut my losses and just invest in a PS3, it's line up really is nothing short of spectacular for this year. I can really see other die-hard fans moving away aswell, microsoft really need to re-think they're marketing strategy in future.

Plus if anyone thinks that MS is going to just sit back & not announce any more exclusives because of Kinect, then you're kidding yourselves.

Im not going to lie, there are about 5 or 6 PS3 exclusives i would love to have. The problem is that i would never get a console to play 6 games. Other than those (and some PC and Wii exclusives), i can play almost everything that interest me on my 360.

Again, what you fail to understand is that not everyone cares for all of the PS3 exclusives. Yes they are exclusives but they are still games and if a person doesn't have interest in these games then no one cares about the number of exclusives the ps3 has. Most of the big budget and popular titles are multiplat titles anyway. Just look at Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Battlefield games, Crysis 2 and Batman if you forgot.

Believe it or not there are actually people out there like myself that think like this and it's quite logical and not hard to comprehend. Also for me I like LIVE and the multiplat titles that I care about play better on the 360. Simple as that. Doesn't matter if a hand full of games do better on the PS3 if I have zero interest in those games. Combine this with Halo, Gears and some hot titles in XBLA and I'm more than content. Also I own both so this is hardly a crysis for me lol. But again the only titles that I got some enjoyment out of was UC2 and GOW3. Other then that my ps3 is mostly used as a blu-ray player.

Enough will be when the next gen consoles are released. I see nothing on the ps3 that would make me "jump ship." If I got one, my 360 wouldn't dissapear, and I see both libraries as essentially the same aside from a handful of exclusives. All I plan to buy for the 360 this year is ME3, Gears3, DA2, and maybe Skyrim,. 2-5 games is more than enough for me to get through in a year.

If people jumped ship every time a console had a slow period then a console like the N64, which housed many of the top games of the gen, would have died, and a system like the PS3 wouldn't have had anyone left owning one by the time it actually got some games. Why would people bail on the 360? It has a *huge* backlog of excellent games - the largest this gen, to be precise - and has some promising releases on the horizon. Do other console supporters forget that they've basically spent most of this gen in its shadow for game lineup, and they didn't run away from their system at the time? The 360 is having a bit of a slow period - happens to every console.

I have no problems with my 360. Do I wish MS made more exclusive titles? Not really. A lot of Sony's exclusive titles mean nothing to me.

Exclusives mean nothing if you have no desire to play them.

It's a damn good system, but throughout the course of an entire year the 360 gets around the same if not more playtime than my PS3.

It depends on what you like.
