The graph showed a huge difference. i thought it would be close like the Hardware sales.
How does MS manage that with the wii hardware units fastly outpacing the 360?

Because when someone buys a Wii, they pick up one game for it.
When someone buys a 360 (like my best friend did recently), there are so many hot games that you have to get 4 to 6 to almost catch up.
Wasn't it "sold more 3rd party games in the US in the last 12 months than PS3 and Wii combined". They had to cherry pick very carefully.Callous-BstardIn first Party the Wii was only 1 million behind the 360, and for Hardware they said they outsold the competition in the past 12 Months in North America and the Wii was .1 Million behind the 360 in North America just for 12 months. Thats still outselling the Competition but not as big as they were suggesting.

exactly, had to keep in america since there not doing so well in Japan and Europe. Plus had to keep it to third party because of nintendo.

Really? You believe those "major nelson" charts again? Because the last I checked, the 360 had an attach rate of 7 or 8, while the Wii and PS3 both had an attach rate of 5.
So...Wii and PS3 combined = an attach rate of 8 which means more game sales.
I'm not denying the 360 can move games, I'm just pointing out your desperate attemp at justifying your fanboy behaviour.
mmmmmmmmmmm comparing xbox 360 highly advertised third party games to wii's none advertised third party games, thats greatnest.
i love how microsoft said they outsold ps3 by 5 million in there numbers, while leaving out the wii..lmao yet in the software comparison they include the wii..lmao.

I love how MS said they outsold PS3 by 5 million, when in reality, the PS3 has been outselling them since launch and the only way to get that 5 million is "total world wide sales to date". And considering the 360 had a YEAR head start, and sold over 10 million consoles in that year....being ahead by 5 million is like bragging about losing HALF your headstart.

The big problem with your rant is that MS didn't sell 10 million in the year before PS3 Launched. That number included the holiday they both were on the market. Probably sold closer to 8 before Sony launced.
Now a console is expected to sell a few million at launch. So in reality Sony didn't do much to close the gap at all (not even including the fact that 360 was out of stock for half of the year).
