Look at what a piece of dump windows is. that is do to the lack of competition it had for so long. Apple has only been turning it around for a few years.
Also, 360 isn;t the best thing out there. If it were, it would have incorporated all of the unique features the Wii and PS3 have.
That scenario would not be cool. Competition helps us all. I am glad the 360 is pushing Sony and Nintendo is pushing MS, etc... Competition helps us gamers.
It probably would but we would need to have all the main companies to release the good rpgs only released in japan to port them to xbox instead of ps3 or ps2.

Hmmm, seeing as shooters have proved to be the most effective on the charts on the 360's controller and xbox live service....ie....halo, gears of war, those are just the main ones there are a bunch of others. If your a PS user why don't you name a few that have received that kind of recognition.
No way, even with the competition from Nintendo and Sony MS gets away with buidling a console that may or may not work past it's 1st birthday. Could you imagine the kind of crap they would sell to us if there wasn't any competition?
The gaming market needs to have various companies selling us products. This in the end helps the consumer. We wouldn't want to turn to just one company for our gaming needs. Look how EA does with their sports games. You can only get College and Pro football from them and they in turn can be half arsed with the games they produce because they know if you want to play football they are the only ones to get these games from. If MS was the only company making consoles they would have us by the ballage. :)

The only positive note if this were to occur, is that System Wars would no longer exist, well except useless PC vs. 360 threads, which are more than tiring :P But then again, companies would dev for both so it really wouldn't matter. Also, Japan would have to embrace a western company like MS, and it will be a cold day in hell before that happens.
