360 to copy both Wii controller and Mii's

I guess this is Microsoft's deperate attempt to appeal to the casual crowd and follow Nintendo's success. Don't get me wrong, I like the 360, but this is kind of ray-tarted - they didn't even try to be discrete in the least bit about their total rip off of Nintendo's genius. Your thoughts?

It's mostly coming from sheep because they think Ninendo invented EVERYTHING.. when infact Nintendo "Stole" most of their ideas from Atari...

If you haven't already noticed, the sheep have got their panties all tied in a knot over this.

Until we actually see some screenshots of this controller and it's motion technology in action, I think it's best everybody shuts up about it.

it's probably because we are later in this gen and all the flamers have had time for a healthy dose of logic. I'm a bit angry that the only thing they did to make the design theres was change a,b,1,2 to a,b,x,y but the transition is somewhat obvious. Nintendo said that it was time to drastically change video game controllers, and it happened

Well the Wiimote has room to be improved so the way I see it the more attempts the better. I don't see why "sheep" would be against this. It's so good that it's only good on the Wii... riiight.

As for the Mii set up, MS stands to do a far better chance at implementing this feature.

1. gamertags and "mii" can be 1:1
2. their achievement system could be used as a way to "dress up" the "mii"

Is there anyone who did not see this coming after the success of the Wii?

They would be foolish not to come out with their own motion controller.

In the latest issue of GI they talk about the ps3 getting its own "wii-mote".

I dont want dead space in my FPS. And if they made it so your X-hairs were centered on your movement for the Wii people would constantly "fall off" the screen and lose detection.

The Wii-mote is far from a great way to play FPS.

Next thing you know they will be making there own Mii channel :lol: ....... oh wait.

I wonder how much it will cost if it ever catches the light of day, that I doubt. Why release a new controler that only a handfull of games will use?Jynxzor
