360 is going to pretty much win 2010 with the better games. And with Natal it will own Sony's Arc in 2011. Then Holiday 2012 we will see a new Xbox with built in Project Natal and it will start >>> once again in 2012-2013

I'm fairly sure they have already said next gen will come with Project Natal built in with every system.

Maybe not though. i think I saw they said that. Not saying it will be an only PN based system it will still have controllers and stuff. i just think They are going to have the cam built into the front ofthe sysem. I beleive they said they would be doing this. Or maybe just launch the every system with the project Natal camera included that sounds more likly

We already have know for over a year. There has been articles saying how the new Xbox will have some amazing tech that will make all 360 games look better. like back scaling tech or something. They are well under way in developement. They would not saying anything. They want to get the jump on Sony again i'm sure.

Anyone who says this gen is nearing its end has been completely ignoring everything microsoft and sony have been saying.

Natal comes out this fall. And if they launch a new system in holiday 2012 then this would be 2 years after Natal. That is long haul in tech world. So this is very possible. And of corse they want to keep leading Sony to beleive other wise. So they can launch first again.

Probably because the hardware they released this gen was pretty much the specs of last generation. It would be nice to have Mario games in High Definition but oh well, Nintendo did what they thought was best and it has paid off.

It's not BS, PCs can do that and it does not require any work on the games themselves. You can force anti-aliasing (normal and transparency), anisotroping filterig and higher resolution on older games and they indeed look better but not insanely better, just a bit better. Larger part of the looks of a game depend on engine (lighting, shaders etc.) which cannot be changed without work on the game itself ...

I'm reluctant to predict when the next XBox will be released. Microsoft might wait, or they might not. However I do think the Natal technology will be standard. It won't replace a gamepad, if that makes people worry, nor is it intended to. However even those that don't want the motion controls in their games might find it nonetheless useful (or at least nifty). For instance Natal's facial recognition feature could have you logged into your profile before you've even picked up the controller.

Sony started to ship the DualShock with the original PlayStation. That lead to it becoming standard with the next system.

Bundling with every system implies a serious commitment to the technology. Not something they would abandon so lightly.
