There are people who aren't hyped about Mass Effect? It's a Bioware game. You would have to be a complete noob or not a fan of the RPG genre to not be hyped about it.

I stand by my statement. If you don't enjoy the best RPGs regardless of where they are made you are not an RPG fan in my book. There is no question that Bioware has made some of the best RPGs ever and they currently have the two highest rated RPGs on Gamerankings. Sure Mass Effect might go wrong somewhere but to not even be hyped about it? You wouldn't be an RPG fan in my opinion.

Well already the PC has two AAA exclusives (Burning Crusade and Galactic Civilizations 2 Dark Avater) and two mid-high AA exclusives (Supreme Commander and Europa Universalis.) I expect Hellgate London and Crysis to score pretty well here too, plus what is the probability that Quake Wars and Unreal Tournament 07 will be the best versions?

I don't know. Am I? I made myself clear. If you play and at least have some interest in the best RPGs available and upcoming RPGs from the best RPG developers regardless of where they come from and regardless of what platform they are on your what I would call an RPG fan. I'm not going to repeat myself yet again and we either agree or disagree, I don't really care and have said what I wanted to say.
