360/PS3 owners can Uncharted 3 multiplayer top Gears 3

i highly doubt it maybe its just the awesome gore and ways you can kill people plus its an excelent third person shooter

i didnt really care for U2's MP and i dont think it was that big a hit with other people as far as shooters go people mainly just loved it for the great single player and graphics

It very well could. I loved the Uncharted 3 multiplayer, in fact I liked it more than Gears of War 3's multiplayer (although I liked both a lot). Uncharted 3 just suits my style more than Gears of War 3 does. Gears 3 would be the first game I'd get if I ever bought a 360 though.

Playing the Gears 3 MP in general is just awesome. The horde mode , TDM, and overall matches are well done and one of the funnest I have had all gen.

But playing the UC3 beta was like eating red velvet cake for the first time. It was damn near perfect.

I agree with you about that. They fixed that in the Uncharted 3 beta, the guns are much more fun to use and feel like, you know, guns. I'm very happy with the gameplay changes they've made thus far, I just want the game to come out already.

I believe they could reach the quality. Though the deversity, I have a hard time seeing ND develop such large amounts of things in such a short period of time.

I prefer Uncharted over Gears for many reasons. For me, I know that it will top it. But it is a matter of opinion. Doesn't matter, Battlefield 3 is going to own the MP scene :P.

Uncharted's MP feels like a mix of Gears and Assassin's Creed to me. I absolutely adore it. Uncharted 3 will be the only game I need this holiday season.

While Gears 3 MP seems to be amazing as well from the little I've played at a friends house, for me UC3 will still easily top it.

Absolutely not LOL. Not with those loads outs, kickbacks and other CoD like features.

I HATE the movement in Gears. it's so annoying to run in that game. I love the environmental movement (world is a playground) in Uncharted. Then to top it all off, in Gears you get to hear these guys cuss ALL THE TIME. They sound and look lame as hell :P. But again, its a solid series and to each their own ;).

So basically, any game you're able to jump in is superior to Gears in game play variety.
Generally, Gears of war 3 hosts a larger variety of different game modes.

Yup. Gears is like 2.5D as you can pretty much only move in 2 directions whereas Uncharted is really 3D.
