I think it coming in like 2010 and yeah i well buy it steamboat109
Lol I though I clicked on system wars, not the special ed forum. Why would they release a new xbox with the success that this one is having? Think about it. Also, even if they did announce it tomorrow, it wouldn't come out until probably 2010 unless they started making it just after the 360 launched.

I hope it is 2011. Also hope they still support the 360 for 2 more years.
2011 or 2013.
I don't think MS will be releasing a new Xbox platform too soon. Xbox 360 is in for the long run. MS is not making another mistake by rushing out the gates and making another piss poor breakable hardware.
The way I see it, MS will simply enjoy and milk out the 360 for the long run of this generation, until 2013 (hopefully) and then by learning from thier "rush out the gate" mistake, release a proper, unbreakable new Xbox platform.
What do will prove to me? It just better not be that expensive and I hope my gamertag and score carries over.jackvegas21
It will prove to you the xbox is another form of PCs, every 3-4 years a new Xbox.
2011 or 2013.

Ofcourse we will buy the new xbox, Lemmings didnt need to sell their soul and house to get their hands on their console of choice this generation.
Of course they're okay with it. They can't possible afford a $600 console to last at least 7 years. But they can afford to pay $400 every four years.The_Crucible
What are you really getting at? Your broken English makes it kinda hard to understand your point...

Don't bother then.

I don't think Im ready for another PC to pay for.

3 years? Did you fail math courses or what? The PS2 came out only 5 years after the PS1, and the Gamecube only 5 after the N64. The 360 came out a year before the competition, just like the PS2 did. So the **** what? If this is an attempt to claim ownage, you're failing miserably.
Take your own advice.V_Isle
The question is, are you ready to pay for, let's say $600 every 3-4 years for a CONSOLE ?

But alot of people did get angry after the Elite's launch, for two reasons, new features and price, I think lemmings will be pissed off, if a next-gen Xbox comes in two years.

The only major $600 console in a decade has been the PS3. That's one console. It's much less of a hassle than investing hundreds or thousands in new PC hardware, then going through the annoying process of physically installing it or putting it together, then wasting hours messing with drivers, patches and other updates. I have no problem buying a $200-$400 console every half decade, give or take a year. If Microsoft's next console has a promising line up as this one, I'll buy it. My 360 was worth every penny.
But alot of people did get angry after the Elite's launch, for two reasons, new features and price, I think lemmings will be pissed off, if a next-gen Xbox comes in two years.
no new xbox in 2 years :roll:
also how were people pissed at the elite...new features, what remake of a console doesn't.
PS2;
Slimmer, built in internet, better DVD playback.
DS light;
Better sound, smaller, longer battery and brighter screens.
Elite;
Bigger HDD, and a HDMI port....
So urm, whats the point...

The first two came cheaper but Elite is more expensive, that's why alot of people pissed off about it.So how about new Xbox?

No, I won't buy PS4 in 2009.
http://www.destructoid.com/peter-moore-new-xbox-360-in-five-years-30388.phtml
In an interview with Peter Moore, EGM grilled him about when the next one would come out, and questions about if they'd drop the X360 like a box of rocks like they did with the 360. He said that they were going to support it "as long as it sold" which is BS, because the Xbox sold well into this year despite no producting after Oct. 2005.
At any rate, he stated the production team from the 360 is working on the next Xbox, and their looking into what kind of CPUs will be available on the market in 2011-2012....
They dropped the old Xbox because they had to buy chips from Intel and Nvidia instead of manufacturing them themselves, and of course the one year head start.Next generationSony will launch first :D
