I think it's a timed exclusive, then 360 owners may get the port of this interesting game.

Wait for the cows to mention how they never liked this game anyway. Personally I could care less about this game.
It's a matter of principle. Now this game will be diluted, just another forgettable experience floating in the filthy waters of the multiplatform river. The sight of software sharing between the PS3 and the poor man's PS3 is trully a sad one. Being a sony exclusive made it special.Wait for the cows to mention how they never liked this game anyway. GRR...i wanna get this game so badly and it looks amazing, but now i sense that if this comes to the 360 it'll have more things to do and extra stuff like most timed exclusives do
eh...guess i'll just rent it for now on the PS3 and by the time i learn if it really is coming out or not on the 360 the price of the PS3 version should have dropped a bit and then i'll just buy it then

Its from Silicon Studios, actually. Atlus USA is just the publisher in NAnice, if it comes to the xbox 360 I'll pick this one up. it looks original and well it's from Atlus, can't be bad.

[QUOTE="KevinButlerVP"]interesting, at least its not a port from the 360. Sony better not start with this timed exclusive crapskektek
Sony doesn't have anything to do with this one. It was developed by Silicon Studios and published by From Software/Atlus.
oh, well I guess it's time for Sony to buy Fom Software :D especially for the sequel to Demon's SoulsI like Zelda, but the art style 34DH has gone for doesn't really sit well with me. It looks like it would be hard to determine things from the background until they move, as well as just being plain blocky.

Indeed, exclusivity is all that counts, all non exlusive games can score up to 5/10, because they are all garbages (the 5/10) to ultra garbages (the 1/10)
In the world map. Not really apparent. In the second temple they're traps that are hard to see. But again they are traps :PI like Zelda, but the art style 34DH has gone for doesn't really sit well with me. It looks like it would be hard to determine things from the background until they move, as well as just being plain blocky.

That's cool, I would definitely pick it up. When I watched the trailer for LBP2, I decided to go out and get a PS3. Then I thought about what other games I would want to get for it because you can't just get a system for one game, and 3d dot heroes was the only one that came to mind.

They did a poor job showing off this game.
I dont know why but they keep promoting this wierd "low" camera view (that blurs the background) in almost every official screenshot out there. Just change it to oldschool over-the-top/isometric view and you're good to go.

Funny how people can forget the two sides of a coin. I hope they do it. More the better, right?
I saw that when it was posted last year. Silicon Studio are talking about in Japan only. I don't see Atlus going back and localizing the same game twice for N.A.. Unless you own a Japanese 360 or this is one of the free region free 360 games, you'll most likely be out of luck.FlamesOfGreyyou wish huh?

I don't care either way because I own both the Japanese and America version of 3D Dot Game Heroes on the PS3. I'm just stating my opinion, just like Cross Edge got ported to the 360 and didn't see a U.S. release because NIS America wasn't going to localize the same game again, I doubt Atlus U.S.A. would do the same. If you're calling me a fanboy for giving people a head up that's your problem dude.

The developer said they are open to porting the game over to the 360 if Form Software was up to it and they only published the game in Japan. Atlus would have to pick up the localization for the 360 N.A. version of the port. Yes, I was giving a headsup as Atlus have the publishing rights for N.A. and like NIS America I don't recall them ever doing late ports for consoles.
On the note of being mad, I never said anything about not wanting it to happen. You decided to try to be smart. I couldn't care less because when you own all consoles and get to experience everything regardless there is no need to be, just saying. :D

I guess I need to bow to his majesty the King now? That's a heads up as non Japan native 360 gamers will be excited for the port which you can see some of in this very thread, when there's not a big chance it would see a U.S. release going by the history of Atlus. I wasn't trying to be smart I follow Atlus / NIS America and have for a long time so I see a pattern in their localization methods and they would mostly be out of luck. Whether it's technical or not I don't care I'm just stating that if you don't have a Japanese 360 or the game is not one of the few region free 360 games you probably wouldn't be playing it anyway but I could be wrong maybe Atlus would do it for the first time. Yeah, you tried to be smart hinting at me being a fanboy when I actually like the 360 or well some of it's games.Edit: Oh and by the way I made the same statements regarding Tales Of Vesperia coming to the PS3 out of Japan. I guess I am a fanboy of both now huh.

Not gonna happen. Atlus is publishing it as a PS3 exclusive. You might as well continue to wait for the port of Demon's Souls too.
That is an old article that gives the impression that 3-D Dot Game Heroes is being ported to the Xbox 360.
Here's an updated one that explains why 3-D Dot Game Heroes is remaining exclusive to PS3:

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble.
well I think it's no brainer that this game will also come to the xbox 360 if Microsoft wants to. Demon's Souls is published by sony, it's different, but the actual producer of this game stated that it can come to the 360, too, so there's no stopping it.

yes, I think it'll come later on this year or even next year, but it'll eventually make its way to the xbox 360, too. in the meantime we got plenty of games to play, so it's not a problem when we get it.well I think it's no brainer that this game will also come to the xbox 360 if Microsoft wants to. 3D Dot Game Heroes is only a PlayStation 3 game. OK, why? I brought the question to Takehiko Terada, President and CEO of Silicon Studio, the developer of 3D Dot Game Heroes.
"If people are waiting for an Xbox 360 version it's not going to happen," Terada explained to Siliconera in an interview. "It's not a problem with technology, it's the strategy of the publisher." From Software published 3D Dot Game Heroes in Japan. Atlus is publishing it in North America and have said in a press fact sheet that 3D Dot Game Heroes will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive. Silicon Studio's middleware and tools that developed the game are designed for multiple platforms, namely PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.silconera

Just like I said even if From Software gives Silicon Studio the green light to port it to the 360 in Japan, Atlus U.S.A. themselves consider it a PS3 exclusive and wouldn't go back and localize the 360 port for N.A.
