Anger is no excuse for gross exaggeration.what's funny is i am angry with N over this. btw, where is the exaggeration? i left out at least a half dozen examples of differing gameboy versions.And how many models of the PSP are there? Its unfair to single out Nintendo on this and ignore the face that this is a common occurrence in the electronics indsturdy.
Why is the DS always singled out for having several models when other systems like the Atari 2600(2 models), Intellevision(2 models), NES(2 Model), Genesis(3 models), SNES(2 models), 3D0(3 models), PS1(2 models), PS2(2 models), Xbox 360(2 models) and PS3(2 models) have done the same thing over the years?
And those are just home consoles, lets not forget the handheld systems like the Lynx, Game Boy Family, PSP, Wonderswan, and other portables that have also seen various hardware revisions over the years.
Hardware revisions are done to cut costs, fix problems and issues with previous models of the hardware, and renew consumer interest in a product.
This argument is flawed by the inherent fact that Nintendo is not the only one who has brought out revised hardware over the lifespan of a system. If you're going to call out Nintendo on this, then you better do the same for Sony, Microsoft, Sega, Atari, and other companies that have also done the same thing over the years.
Otherwise, drop this pathetic argument.
