3DS. 300 Dollars. WORTH IT!

FOR THIS GAME (aside from Ocarina of time 3DS, Layton 3DS, MGS 3DS, Icarus Uprising etc.) MADE the 3DS worthy of a 250-300 price!

PROFESSOR LAYTON vs. PHOENIX WRIGHT!!!

Phoenix Wright meet Professor Layton. Capcom's lawyer is going to appear in a game with Level-5's famous puzzle-solving sleuth.

Today in Tokyo, Level-5 revealed a Professor Layton and Ace Attorney crossover Nintendo 3DS game currently titled "Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney".

Ace Attorney creator Takumi Shuu will be working on the title, and the game's theme will be puzzles that are full of contradictions. Sounds perfect for a legal puzzle mash-up.

The game is set in Labyrinth City. The background is medieval, and the city is populated with witches. The villain is named the "story teller" and whatever he writes with his pen becomes reality.

The in-game trial is called "The Trial of the Witch", since Phoenix Wright's client is accused of being a witch.

Trading in my DSi XL to lighten the price tag to about 150ish (my range). I agree, Nintendo better release it at 200-250.

Considering the fact that it was proved that it wasn't as powerful as claimed to be, it better cost $250.

Also I think that it will be $250 in U.S. because the Japanese market is a bigger handheld market so therefore it will cost more there.

I already know what I am trading in for so I hope the 3DS is region free to play games that won't come to the US markets. This game made the 3DS even more desirable for me.

My two favorite series from the DS crossing-over in a 3DS game? YESPLEASEDOWANT. Seriously, I'm just finishing the last PL and I've played the original PW trilogy countless times, I'm so hyped.

Neat. Though I wish they had tweaked Wright to better match the art style of the Professor Layton games. He stands out like a sore thumb.

Doesn't matter. Shows two loving art styles combined in one mix mashup. Like Marvel vs Capcom or Kingdom Hearts. You don't see much complaining. :P

It's either these.

1. It could be before he lost his license.
2. Since Phoenix's World is more modern and Layton's is more Old English, It could be possible that Phoenix was either summoned (or accidentally sent there with the "help" of Maya) there for a big debate because of his rep despite not being a lawyer anymore. So Phoenix has to suit up again one last time.
3. He got it back.

I'm thinking it's the 1st one.

25000 yen usually means it will be $250 also if I bought 3DS at first day it will be because of LEVEL-5 and not Nintendo or any other dev :P.

3DS is backwards compatible with all DS games.

Seems odd, woulda been cool to have them work together, Phoenix Wright as the attorney and Layton as the detective.
