a) The 3DS is not 270 Euros in Europe. Shops offer it for as cheap as 185 Euros. b) Why would you buy a 3DS from the US? c) The 3DS is region locked, and we've known this for over a year.I just want to know why the 3ds cost 250$(250$=175euros)in USA and in europe 270euros.Is the America more clever...??:(

Okay, that is very high, yes. It's a robbery. I can see your point man. Have you tried looking at some other stores? Like I said, the 3DS doesn't have a fixed price, so you might find some other stores that are selling it foe much cheaper and/or with bundles as well.[QUOTE="AtariKidX"]a) The 3DS is not 270 Euros in Europe. Right now, for example, Amazon UK has the 3DS available for 180 Pounds. That's roughly 220 Euros, right?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-Handheld-Console-Aqua-Blue/dp/B004ISLDUG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1310383712&sr=8-1
If you could tell me which country you live in, I'd be able to help you better.
And no, I don't think there's any point in reporting this to Nintendo- remember, they did not fix any price for the 3DS, so theoretically, a shop could charge a thousand bucks if it wanted to.

I live in Greece and the prize here for a 3DS is insane.I will take a look in amazon....thanks.In Romania, most large electronics retailers sell the 3DS for 1299 RON which is about 307 EUR. But nobody forces you to buy from them, you can get new ones a lot cheaper from Internet forums, as long as you're willing to take a bit of a chance and you don't mind the lack of any warranty. I bought mine for 150 EUR, brand new, by mail, so I took a lot of chances, but it was as perfectly sealed as one you would get in the stores. Just no warranties and no questions asked about its provenience.

JESUS^^^^ no way!Huh, We sweds are usually unlucky with the price of all new systems, but the 3DS can be bought online from a few sites for only 1999 kr (about $309 / 220 euro). I remember when PS3 came out and it was 6000 kr ($930). I didn't buy one :P But then again, we have much bigger paychecks, the average paycheck in sweden is 23 000 kr (about $3560 or $2390 after taxes).
