$2.50 a map??  DL content is way overpriced.  To bad nothings going to change since tons of people are going to buy this.

Oh I don't mean you're griping, but I know a lot of people will be. 

Why isn't it free? This is a rip-off, i know it's only a few bucks but when i buy a game i want the whole package, i don't want to pay for extra content. It's like you buy a game and then MS says, "for few more dallors you can have these amazing brand new maps." A few years from now gears of war would have turned into like a $100 game because of all the extra content. I know it's optional but still, i want it for free.cobrax80

yeah this is the third big misake M$ has done in my book, they either force, or encourage the overpricing of DL content.

why does it have to be 10 bucks! thats expensive for nothing more than maps.

does PSN charge for extra content like this because if not M$ is just begging for XBL to lose the online crown.

Umm, $10 for 4 maps. Still a little pricey, but not overly bad. This is too bad, because any Epic fan out there knows that these would be free if MS wasn't pressuring Epic to charge.

well small stuff like this is usually free, but you have to remember lots of pc games charge for expansion packs, but they are still a better value than this.

Also I'm griping, I've been griping about overcharging for DL content since PGR2 cars, and halo 2 mappacks way back in 2005.  I've got no beef if the content is worthwhile but when you're paying $10 I expect 1/6 of a full retail game value.

From what I've understood for $60 we got a whole new game w/ 12 hours of gameplay and 12 mp maps.  To me each hour of gameplay equals about the same work of a MP map.  Now that puts the cost of each map @ $2.50 but we're also forgetting we're not getting a whole new game, just some addons.

Now to me it seems that the map packs are a giant ripoff like other content (hl episode 1, and horse armor), but still a bit overpriced. 

Microsoft are using our love for this game as a weakness to rip us off.Free in September?
