4 player co-op for Killzone 3 denied

Hopefully there'll be 2 player co-op, but I really doubt there'll be splitscreen, unfortunately.

I think the 2 player co-op was confirmed,and I think GG might be trying not to reveal the 4 player co-op (I suppose they were intending it to be a suprise)

do ppl not get it? its not going to get split screen or any co op because that would degrade the graphics. and this is why killzone will never be on the same level of fun as with COD or halo. they put graphics over reply value and fun. killzone 2 is just another shooter that will get boring fast after a couple weeks of play then everyone will go back to their main online game.GrabTheYayo

I mean, think about it, Guerilla is just shooting themselves in the foot,not to include Co-Op in Killzone. All it's peers in the wide shooter genre have it: Halo has it, Gears of War has it, Uncharted has it, heck, even Resistance has it!

So, I reckon co-op is still in, but is being kept under wraps.

Anyway, I don't think that split-screen is that big on both platform, it's just that the 360's biggest exclusives, Halo and Gears, both support split-screen, making the PS3 line-up seem lacking, even though both platforms are lacking, compared to last-gen.

While KZ2 was a decent game I know I won't purchase it early on if it doesn't have co-op(hopefully splitscreen but at least online) until it goes for around $20. Too many non-descript shooters out there to just buy this one if it doesn't have any variety(I don't care for 3d).

Well, this isn't good news :(. It could be a ploy by GG, so they could announce the feature themselves lol. If 4-player co-op play is out of the picture, entirely, I'm still positive there'll be some form of co-op play. We'll see.
