I dont understand how this is ownage, ur old 360 works fine. If you feel the need to go out and buy a new system for HDMI then go ahead. Your paying for it.
It's all bs until MS confirms it. Heck, I'd be happy if it was "confirmed" by Gamespot, but that website doesn't look reliable at all.
Besides, doesn't change the fact I don't care about HDMI, I don't need a bigger HD, and I've already been enjoying my 360 for over a year. I see no ownage here at all.
Meh! I've had the 360 since launch and have had zero problems with. I like the white one better because the black one looks too much like my shiny PS3. And my TV only does 1080i so I keep it at 720p for games and 1080i for HD-DVD movies. I don't use much of the HardDrive except for game files so I'm not running out of space anytime soon. I suppose HDMI would be nice but I already have the PS3 hooked up through HDMI and I only have one HDMI input. I don't want to switch back and forth everytime I wanna play one. Though the black controler I would buy because it looks really nice. Unless my 360 breaks down, or somehow I can get a sweet deal trading my old one in, I'm not getting it anytime soon!
it will have an hdmi interface and it will run games at 1080p, as much as ps3

At the moment almost all of PS3's games run at 720p only. If I have the PS3 set at 1080i/p then it will downgrade it to standard 420p. So when the new 360 is released I wonder if sony will make there games a natural 720p, or natural 1080p?
Alright! The main reason why I'm hesitating to get a 360 is due to a lot of issues especially the dreaded 3RLD. Hopefully that issue no longer exist in the new model.
Should go nice with my new HDTV. Still I'll wait for MS to comfirm it first. Perhaps when MS reveal it we will see the new "FPS controller" they made as well.

LOL, how can you say that when MS got everything out first, the xbox 1Â came up with HDD first, the 360 was always going to be 1080p and wow about the colour, sony didnt invent black, this story is still rumor anyway, and as for sony, how about copying rumble from nintendo and analogue sticks, now movement sensative controllers and also analogue triggers from xbox, not to mention online play and wireless conectivity of the 360. Even the PS pad is a copy of the snes one with added copied features! Sorry but dont even go there about copycat behavior when your sat on sony's side of the fence!
I don't know if the rumor is confirmed yet but it's awfully popular. The rumor is the reason why I picked the PS3 for this gen. I didn't want to purchase an Xbox360 and have it be old news by the time May rolled around (the HDMI port is useful to me and the cooling is obviously something I'd want). The rumors of the Xbox360 defects (red rings of death) also spooked me off. I'll be the first to admit though, in going the way of PS3, I'm spending a lot of time watching Bluray discs and playing the one game I own so far ;) I guess we can't have everything :)
If true Microsoft has lost a consumer. HDMI shoulda been there from the beginning, not something I will have to buy a new system for. I hope this is not true because if it is I have been owned by MS.

Not official but they worked so nicely, better than the standard remotes.
Do people just have REAL bad memory spans? Please remember when this SAME photo resurfaced with this rumor a while back, and it was confirmed that that black 360 is a dev unit. You can't see in that pic, but the top of the system had a PC port in it. All the 360 dev kits are black like that People really do put their respective carts before their horses lol
