4th console

Next gen could there possibley be a 4th console entering the console war? And if so what company do you think would release it?

i doubt there will be four systems next gen. but i know for sure i will never ever buy another system for over 199.

20 gig 360 250 bucks -50 bucks mail in rebate= E74

still got the 20 gig 360 they fixed for free

had to buy a ps3 250 gigslim for 350 bucks. my old ps3 was unfixable

I think the market is crowded with 3 consoles, so there will probably not be a 4th. But I'd love Sega to get back in the fight. Or how about ATARI?misiufraggle

they called it the genesis because there was already a patent for "megadrive" in the US

they probably called it genesis because sega didn't even had any offices in the US at the time, so it did begin something

Sega consoles have always had the coolest names. Sega Megadrive, Sega Master System, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast :P Compared to Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Playstation 3 :lol:

I guess there could be a slight chance of apple reeleasing a full console, I doubt it though.

Imo in a perfect world MS would cancel it's entry into next gen at the last minute after Sony already has all there competitive pricing in place and all that and just go back to PC gaming. Just Nintendo for the younger crowd and Sony for the mature crowd. MS should just go represent the PC imo, they used to be great at that and on consoles they suck.

I seriously think Sega might team up with EA to make a console. EA have stated they are interested in joining the console market and Sega have stated that as well. Than there is also APPLE.
