5 potential AAAE exclusives in the next year (360+Ps3)

Gran Turismo 5 and Forza3... Since they are similar, pretty much cancel each other out. Ps3 fanboys...we all know GT5 will outsell Forza3 so let's not even bring that up, as it's a redundant point.

Then there is Halo 3 ODST. hmmmm....while it may sell very well with all those die hard Halo fans... it will not sell nearly as much as the original Halo3. It'll probably do closer to what Gran Turismo 5: PROLOGUE sold. Which is very good considering it's an expansion pack. Though I do feel kind of sorry for anyone who buys this if they already have all the Halo3 map packs.

The next 2 blockbuster exclusives. GOD OF WAR III and Uncharted 2.

God of War III is a no brainer. Look at it's pedigree. GOW games have always scored high and have been critically acclaimed. The first GOW entry this gen in surely going to deliver, and it's hype is higher than any of the previous GOW games. I fully expect GOWIII to outsell both previous titles despite having a smaller Ps3 user base.

Uncharted 2..... It looks and plays much better than the original. 360 fanboys will be quick to point out "bbbbut the first game only got a 8.0 on GS"... yeah, so? That was 2 years ago, and Naughty Dog has immensely improved this game in every area. Not only have they added 2 new gameplay modes (multiplayer and co-op), but theyve really tightened up the controls, fixed the shooting, made it more realistic, improved the graphics to a point where it's one of the best (if not THE best) looking console game, and they confirmed that the single player campaign will be even longer than the first.

Alan Wake looks to be AAA material. aaronmullan

Heavy Rain and ODST look AA to me. Forza seems more likely to be AAA than GT5 just because the past 2 Forzas were AAA.

I really don't see why we can't all just admit that the "system war" is between PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC is going to be around forever, and the Wii targets a different market. Alan Wake is an advantage that Xbox360 has over the PS3 and, unless you have a high end gaming PC, the fact that it's also on PC isn't relevant when you're just comparing Xbox360 and PS3.

When is GT5 supposed to come out anyways?

Just because someone else is bound to do this:

Alan Wake doesn't count. It's coming out on another platform that Microsoft also has a heavy stake in, so it doesn't count as an AAAE for the xbox 360.

They did, but from what I've gathered from reading previews from E3. God of War 3 isn't too much of an improvement. I have no doubts that it will be AAA, but AAAA might be a bit of a stretch.
