6.5 hours left for Sony Event, what can they do to Counter FFXIII 360 revealin??

I pretty much dont think they will be able to counter it, but here goes:
-ZOE 3 announcement - Hideo behind it and is exclusive for ps3
-Twisted Metal
-GOW3
-Jak

this will probably bring a little balance to the FFXIII announcement, but i dunno, what do you think?

all the games you've mentioned are more than enough to put sony in a good position .

but I think sony has some huge surprises that we don't know about and I think also those surprises will be the major highlights of e3 2008 , after the dissappointment that is Microsoft's conference .

FFVII remake is not going to happen , and KH3 will probably be a wii exclusive , so those two can be excluded from the list of sony's potential e3 surprises , then again who knows ?!

Honestly, Sony isn't going to have a hard time beating Microsoft in the conference portion. MS had a terrible conference, except for some Fallout, Gears 2, and Fable 2 footage. The rest was...garbage. And then of course, the FF13 to 360 announcement. :(

I mean think about it FF is huge for Sony. All of them outsell MGS game by like 5 times as much. This is the first time a non-mmo FF has ever been on X-Box.

There is pretty much not many games that would be bigger than FF13, or much announcements that can top "FF13 is now multi-plat, release day one." Hopefully, I'm wrong.

well GOW3 in-game footage would be great.... more details on LBP, Infamous, Heavy Rain, KZ2, Resistance2 & Motorstorm2 are welcome... but I think that there will be a couple of new announcements, hopefully being new IP's.... lets see also if Team ICO present their 'secret' project and show us something...

Sony needs to announce an exclusive rpg. An exclusive, in-house rpg, by one of their big players. Thats been secretly in development using Uncharted and Resistance 2 engine tech and will release this winter. Its got to make FF13 (which we still have no gameplay footage of) look like FF7, with an actual playable demo out for E-3'ers. Anything less than that, and Sony fails as far as I'm concerned.mbrockway

They won't do any worse than Microsoft in the conference department, but I will agree with you about a game like that, they certainly need something to try and balance out the FF13 announcement.

i think sony can see how disapointing this loss is going to be for their fans and customers, and they know that they are REALLY going to have to do something BIG this e3. so maybe this is wats going to push them into a corner, where they HAVE to blow us away in order to survive, and try to make this loss seem almost insignificant. i think we still have versus as well, which i thought was supposed to be better.-eitch8

They can't think of something over night. There is nothing big enough to offset this. FF13 was waved in Lems faces for the past two years. You can't just suddenly unring that bell.
