Easily the game im looking forward to most this year (followed by the 3rd birthday).

Its not the best looking game but i wish more devs would do what Retro (and Nintendo) do with their games. Thats creating a fully organic sorrounding that can dynamically alter through the players action and offer great detail in small places. The way the leaves move when DK pounds the ground, the dust that kicks up as he moves faster, the little insects that are just mind their own business and the whale that pops up at the back. This is the kind of things devs need to do to compensate for lack of technical prowess. Retro have did it for Metroid and im glad their doing it for Donkey Kong.

Gameplay wise its more DKC but more evolved. Which is exactly what i want.

Looks like good old DKC gameplay wise... I'm still struggling with the new graphic style though. So used to the Rare DKC graphs :?.

Game looks extremely easy and whats up with the hearts? I hope you can turn that off for a more "classic" mode. Also, who ever is playing is terrible and its really aggravating.

Looks pretty good. If I end up getting a Wii, this is one of the games that's going on my "to buy" list.

I loved DK64 but

One of my most aniticipated titles. The fact that they said they're bringing back some of the classic music too is pure gold.

This was game of the show for me, the old DKC series is one of my favorite gaming past times. I really hope this game has an awesome soundtrack like DKC 1 or 2.Meinhard1

What happened to DKC 3? I don't hear it mentioned as much as the other two. (I haven't played the DKC games yet)

Oh cool. Great news. The Metroid Prime series (Metroid in general) is one of my fav series ever, and I loved what they did with MP. They seem to know what made Metroid good, so I'm sure the new DK will stay faithful to it's predecessors. Looks great so far, great graphics and the same classic DK gameplay. :)

scrollers are boring as hell IMO. tough luck. i don't see the appeal in them at all.
