many don't think of the wii to be console personally i think it is but needs a few less gimmicky games , wii doesn't tend to break but the sensor does (don't know if you count it as part of the console) and the inherent damage to tvs when remotes go flying (does happen quite frequently) im a ps3 owner i agree with some of the points not all,(the games chosen don't give best examples really).
it's a console and you strayed from the simple point in your first sentence.
we're talking the actual console here, a sensor breaking is like an analog going out on any other dual analog controller- PS3/360.
even if TVs break, it does not pertain to the console, it would still function.
judging from say, Playstation Move, and if this is as frequent as you claim it to be. The orb will undoubtedly be very fragile and breaking something will be more common than the Wii-mote. would you want that counted against the PS3?
