80GB PS3 in stores now! Why did they rip off early customers? (Picture proof)

I have a 120GB HDD in my PS3 now, but I feel ripped off. :(

Is that real or has someone photoshopped it?

I really don't see the point of an 80GB PS3...it's only adding 20GB.

Anyways, I can't imagine what 20gigs would add....60 is already a lot, and 20 isn't much more...it just doesn't make sense. 

I'm can't picture any sane reason for Sony doing this. But then again it is Sony. That is if it's real. Which I hope it's not.

Your guess is as good as mine, there are many patents by these Corps that don't get used, who knows.
Further Compounding how inefficient the process is, is demonstrated by the fact the PS3's HDD is EASILY Upgradeable. You can get a Samsung 120gig HDD 2.5 inch for $75....but why? 60gigs is a ton. Maybe Sony has a plan that we just don't have the pieces too, who knows.

OK.  Supposing the 80GB PS3 is a reality and comes lets say tomorrow, where's the ownage? In the 20GB extra? Please, dont be so stupid.  The rest of the hardware is the same with no new features on it.  Unlike 360 Elite that includes an HDMI port and an HDD 6 times the size of the other one, not to mention that that HDD is overpriced.  For less than $180 I can find an external USB 2.0 250GB HDD.  So if 20GB more is ownage then what would Elite 360 be?

its fanboy haven because they report on all tips? really? last time i checked they didn't create the picture.

oh and they even say its rumor and it might possibly be fake Based on the quality of the shots and the lack of official confirmation from Sony, we're still calling this rumor for now.

and Miss kitten: dont need proof they have good games because its a well known fact, The wii has more games out now then ps3, and the wii is outselling the ps3 in every region like 2:1 or more.

Thats a pretty bad photoshop actually, notice the barcode on the one on the top..you would never get that kind of brightness along with such a shade of yellow ONLY on the black bars, also notice how theres a few pixels on it that are still black.

Likewise look to the left side of the one on top, theres a very bright lighting source on that and it cuts off very abruptly, theres not even any leak over.

Also on the bottom right the lighting is all wrong, you wouldn't find that kind of lighting in a retail environment, especially as they tend to be in cases where such direct light wouldn't be possible. 

Lastly notice the 80GB text itself, it is too clear compared to the rest of the image which is horribly pixelated and off color.

Its not, all we have at the moment is a basic patent, meaning that it may exist at some point..but theres no reason to believe it does now.
