Now i can get a cheap direct x 1o card and will be able to get a direct x 10 game that fully utiltilezes the power of the card i can run at good, with my 1gb ram.

1.) More ram is always nice, but it shouldn't be "necessary". Not at all. And what does "this game doesn't even fully run in DX10" mean? How about you create clarity instead of more fog. I know you're new here, but still. THINK.
If your going to run it on Vista with DX10 you are going to need another 1GB of RAM... Vista itself takes 512MB... and min specs for Crysis are 768 on XP...

Get Vista. The experience will be best there. You know they're never going to release DX10 on XP, right? your card will only be "fully unlocked" in Vista.

lol then you wasted your money on that low end DX10 card. so yea forget about DX10. unless you feel like getting vista thats a couple hundred more bucks. regardless get at least another gig of ram.  seriously.

A couple hundred more buck for Vista? It costs $100 for Vista Home Premium and that's all you need. It will be cheaper by the time Crysis comes out anyways. Wow, please stop making yourself look like a fool.Â

You know some hackers and modders out there will figure out a way to get DX10 working with Windows XP. I'm sure it's possible, somehow. I hope. I've only got 1.5GBs or RAM and Vista really sucks right now for gaming performance.
