Yentendo=Ca$h money Do you think they'll pwn Microsoft and Sony and make the most advanced console next gen and steal core gamers while appealing to the casuals. I just really have a guy feeling that Nintendo is gonna drop a Megaton next gen.

I think thats just wishful thinking on your part... I'm guessing Nintendo sticks with an underpowered casual machine next gen too. But Hopefully they'll put a HDD in it.

If sales are all that matter, you might as well just give it up to Nintendo. They know how to sell their crap, unfortunately they don't know how to back it up with software (spare me the drama, 1 or 2 AAAs a year won't do it).

I love that part in your sig! even simple math is too hard for fanboys!

Anyways, I don't know if Nintendo will drop the megaton, why do that when you can release an underpowered system that is cheap and sell it overpriced and make a ton of profit? Sounds cold right? Get over it, that's the business world.

They made a cheap console because they couldn't afford to make a competitive one. They made money off the Gamecube and Wii, but each sold poorly by Nintendo standards and they were getting lost in the Sony v. Microsoft competition (especially in America). Next time they'll have the momentum of the Wii to ride, and I fully expect a console with specs comparable to its competitors.
