I wonder what version thats from. I played the first on the xbox360, but I would like to play number 2 on the PC since they are coming out at the same time. I wonder if theres anyway I can transfer my save over....
Didn't want to watch all of it but damn, Pumped for this game man. Can't wait to see how the story unfolds and especially see what happens concerning the most bad ass enemy in a game; The Reapers. :D
I only watched half of it, no way am I going to spoil any more than that. What a gorgeous game, though. It looks better with each new bit of footage. The colors are so much richer and more vibrant, the texture detail is crisp and it looks to run quite smoothly.
As for the game itself, it looks to be an improvement on the first one in every way...and I loved the hell out of the first Mass Effect. I know it's early, but I really do not think there will be another game in 2010 that will top this one for me.

Well not on the first part, but one person from the first game makes a appearence from the second one...
Combat looks improved. Storytelling is a lot more dramatic - I like the fact that they're being more free with the camera during the dialogue sequences. Looking good. The first was definitely one of the top games of this generation for me. This looks to top it.
I'm impressed and that's no easy feat. Up there with Alan Wake for best graphics on the 360.

You said "I prefer" which is completely acceptable. I find no fault with someones opinion as long as it is stated as such. I however cannot disagree more but that is of course simply my opinion.
Curse you TC!! Here I am trying to avoid all things ME2 until its release and then you come along and tempt me with this footage. Well fine I will watch and then wallow in misery knowing I cant play it for ages.

I don't see how that could be possible...first one was amazing.Not at all in my opinion. I really wanted to like the game but as soon as the vehicle sections began my interest faded. I thought the gameplay did not hold up to the story. I was semi interested in the characters and downright estactic once I got a ship(just like Skies of Arcadia =)however once the whole thing got going it just sort of fizzled for me. I went back a few more times to try an get enraptured with it but it never happened.

Its from the 360 version. You cant see its controller buttons on the hud a few times.
Looks really good with interesting characters, good combat, and great graphics. The only thing that bothered me during the video was the choppy framerate of the game at times when moving the camera and the crappy 2d explosions and fire effects. I really want Bioware to bring this game to ps3. I will admit for the 400th time now that I'm jealous of lems and hermits just because of ME series. My pc is crap and I don't have the funds to justify buying another console or getting a new pc. I'm a cow and I don't own a super gaming rig but man I want some ME on my ps3

Let the video get finished or halfway done buffering first, mine ran smoothly the entire way through, whoever hasnt gotten to level 60 in ME1 you really do need to, get the full experience, just yummy.

I would actually like to sell my 360 and pick up a ps3 but I have to play Mass Effect. It would be awesome if everyone could play it, one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had and the fact that it's a trilogy in which so many of the decisions you have carry over from game to game is just fntastic.

I mean seriously Mass Effect 2 is so beautiful...
