9 new wii exclusives announced

June 27, 2007 - UK developer Data Design Interactive announced early this year it had a slew of titles in development for the Wii. Publisher Conspiracy Entertainment has picked up nine of these games for release in the U.S. and Asia, and they're all apparently to be released in 2007.

Wii owners can look forward to:

Ninjabread Man - Even ninja have a sweet tooth. Players must use their delicious martial art skills to defend Candy Land from an army of cavity-causing desserts. Really.

Billy the Wizard - In no way inspired by Harry Potter, Billy the Wizard races in the Broomstick Grand Prix and casts spells to fend off dragons above The Wizard's Castle.

Anubis II - Set in ancient Egypt, players control Anubis, the Guardian of the Underworld, in his quest to lift the Curse of the Pharaohs. Your journey will take you through tombs and catacombs in search of the Golden Pyramids of Power. The Nunchuk controls Anubis while the Wiimote swings the Sceptre of Ra and throws Kanopic Bombs.

Myth Makers Super Kart GP - A kart racing game that uses the Wiimote in the "driving position," like a steering wheel. Up to four players can race in Cup Challenges and time trials to unlock vehicles, levels, and special powers.

Monster Trux Extreme - Race monster trucks off-road in quarries, canyons, and mines. Win prize money to unlock extra vehicles, challenges, upgrades, and courses.

Rock 'N' Roll Adventures: Elviz - Play as Elviz in this musical platformer over drum kits, records, piano keys, and amplifiers. Swing the Wiimote to attack and enter targeting mode to point and shoot instruments gone haywire.

Action GirlzRacing - Another kart racer, starring women of action. Race around girlz' favorite hangouts: castles, resorts, and schools. The Wiimote is used in the steering wheel position.

Mini Desktop Racing - A racing game starring the Mini. Data Design insists this is "the fastest officially licensed Mini game on the Wii." Race your inch-long miniatures around everyday household objects.

Offroad Extreme - Wow, Data Design really likes racing games. This one also uses the Wiimote in a steering wheel position and also sends players racing through quarries, canyons, and mines.
