Oh man, people still don't get the new review system.
They do not up the score or down the score.
If Ninja Gaiden Sigma would have gotten a 9.4 with the old review system then it would have gotten a 9.0 now.
9.4 means not worthy of 9.5. They don't just up the score like that. Read the letter.
Or maybe it's because the Original was better.
Don't worry cows, you'll get a remake with a good score like RE4:Wii someday :D

1) This version getting a lower score does not mean that the original version was better. Proof - RE4 Wii review. They gave it a 9.1, whereas the PS2 version got 9.3 and the GC version got 9.6, but they call the Wii version "the definiitive version". When a game is released for the third time years later it will get a lower score, that's how reviewers work.
2) RE4 Wii got a 9.1 :| if thye had the new system in place at this time it would obviously get a 9.0.
[QUOTE="akif22"]Because, in their SW minds, 9.1 > 9.0. That's probably why they changed it in the first place, to try to cut out some of the b.s. here.it's AAA
why are people still complaining?

1) I'm talking remakes
2) .1 can mean all the difference.

Wow. This needs to be stopped right now.
We need a thread seriously addressing this nonsense.
And we need to put an end to the speculative ownage - "well it woud have gotten an 8.8 in the old scoring system."

No.
No it doesn't.

You clearly point out that RE4:Wii is a remake in your post. I don't see what you're trying to say in your first point. .1 can mean all of the difference but it was int he old review system, which means the actual numerical score is not comparable.[QUOTE="Davis092"]The original isn't better.Or maybe it's because the Original was better.

If the original was made today and sold off at 60$, It would have scored less then 9.0
Of course it would have.
For it's time, NG was the best action/adventure game. FAstforward 3yrs and the bar has been raised and the same game (with a few extras) scores less.
