Sullivan returns in Uncharted 3 as he and Nate are exploring the deserts of Arabia and is said to have a very major role in the game.The relationship between Drake and Sully is going to be one of the main focal points of the game.

Confirmed Power plays:

"Power plays are features that are activated when a team is losing by a large amount. They provide the team on top with an opportunity to maximize their cash for the match, while evening the odds for the team on the losing end of the equation and giving them the opportunity to close the gap a little."

Marked Man: A random player on the winning team gets marked and if he is killed the other team recieves extra points each time he is killed. However if the team manages to keep the VIP alive, that team recieves extra points.

Exposed:The losing team gains the ability to see all locations of the winning team, through walls and other obstacles.

Double Damage: The losing team gains double damage with all attacks. (Firepower, meele, etc.)

Cursed: When Cursed is active, all players on the winning team sees everyone in the match as skeletons and friendly fire is enabled. If a team member kills their own teammate, the losing team earns extra points, or if a member from the losing team kills a member of the winning team they get extra points.

Overtime and Sudden Death

"If, at the end of a match, the scores are "too close to call," the match enters Overtime. This gives the teams more time to win the match by a margin of two or more kills. If this is not achieved, the match will enter Sudden Death, a feature similar to Elimination in Uncharted 2"

The Dry Docks

"Syria is a multi-level arena sty1e map based within the walls of a fort."

London Underground

Adventure Mode

Adventure mode is extremely similar to co-op objective from Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - two to three players must complete objectives while battling enemy AI.

Hunter Mode

Hunter Mode pits teams of two against each other. On one side are the heroes. These two must capture as many treasures as they can. On the other side are the villains - two players teamed with AI enemies. These people are out to stop the heroes from banking any treasure. Heroes get medal kickbacks for successful returns, and hunters earn medals for kills that allow them to pick what pirate or soldier to come back as. After six minutes of play, the teams switch roles and the game continues.

Co-op Arena

Co-op Arena returns in Uncharted 3 but has changed dramatically. Instead of having three seperate game modes it incorporates all game modes (Survival, Gold Rush, Siege) into one game and so every time a round begins the players are given their objective whether it is Survival; when the players must eliminate all enemies, Gold Rush; where a treasure must be placed into the chest on the otherside of the map or Siege; when all players must stay inside a specific area on the map for an amount of time to progress.

There can be a maximum of three players and any player can join at any time. There is a time limit of 20 minutes to get to round 10. All players share 10 lives so everytime a player dies (does not get revived) a life will be taken. The game ends when the time is up, the players reach round 10 or when all players run out of lives and die.

"The cinema feature is due to be vastly improved upon, with the addition of new features. Matches are now stored directly to the PS3 hard drive, as opposed to Uncharted 2's online storage system."

Medal kickbacks

Medals will return in multiplayer. Once a certain number of medals have been earned, the player can activate a temporary enhancement. For example, the player can spawn an RPG in their hands, or vanish and respawn in a different location on the map.

Confirmed Medal Kickbacks

• Militia Man - No reloading for 30 seconds. Costs 5 medals.
• Disruption - Nearby enemies cannot see player arrows for 45 seconds. Costs 6 medals.
• Smoke Bomb - Vanish in a puff of smoke and spawn elsewhere on the map. Costs 7 medals.
• Cursed Idol - Throw an idol that releases a cloud of gas that curses anyone who enters it. Costs 7 medals.
• Cash 'em In - Double your cash earnings for 30 seconds. Costs 7 medals.
• Carpet Bomb - Throw 3 grenades at once. Costs 7 medals.
• A further kickback was shown in the official multiplayer reveal trailer. This kickback allows the player to spawn an RPG in their hands.
• Creepy Crawler - Allows you to turn into a swarm of deadly creatures for a limited time and overwhelm your enemies.

As you all can see, while many Uncharted fans are here, some PS3 fans are here, some 360 fans are here, some Wii fans are here, and even some PC fans are here. The HYPE of a game is not a singular group affair. We would like to do all future HYPE threads this way in SW from PC, to 3DS, to 360, to Wii, to Vita, to PS3. It just so happens the TC in this case wanted to make a sweet U3 thread.

As we all can see, all kinds of gamers are HYPEing this U3 game, as any other HYPEd game in SW past (This game is no different than other HYPEd games, it's just the thread we happen to be in). However, take note that there are also posters HYPEing the Uncharted 3 game that are not PS3 owners/ PS3 gamers/ Uncharted fans, so the HYPE of a game is a SW populace experience, one faction isn't owned for HYPEing (Pointing a finger at a faction for overhyping, underhyping, damage control HYPEing, et cetera) when a game flops, the game that flops is owned though. General statements about one ENTIRE faction HYPING in one certain way was never an accurate statement, or accurate generalization. Let this thread be a testament for future System Warriors.

This is also a great list to see how HYPE works, who HYPEs and how they HYPE games, who overhypes games for the flop effect, who underhypes for safety, and who HYPEs for fun, and those that post HYPE honestly. I do like that we can see HYPE for this game being counted and generated across the entire spectrum of SW as we should have known, it's very evident. :P

I think AAA is in the bag, easily. I'm not really into the games, but they are damn well made and after U2 I think its safe to say critics have a crush.

Why does the box art look so god damn fugly compared to the first two games? When they first showed that box art I kept telling myself "this must be just a placeholder" and I was dissapointed when they kept showing it :(. I did the same with Killzone 3's box art.

It's not that much work. See a post, put it in word pad or excell or something.
