9.5...when will we see this mysterious score again!?

Ok Guys, for get the perfect 10, AAAAE trash! When do you guys think we will see another 9.5 from GS? The way I see it, the only announced games that are slated to be coming out this year that still have a chance at this magical number are Empire: Total Wars and God of War 3. Prior to that, KZ2 and SF4 had a chance at getting a 9.5. Out of the games coming out, Halo ODST has no chance...it will be lucky to get a 9.0 IMO. Im guessing AA (8.0-8.5). RE5 has no chance at a 9.5 Its 2 score ranges are 8.5-9.0...not even a sliver of a chance at 9.5. Star Craft 2 will not get 9.5 Blizzard is a truly talented dev that makes amazing games everytime but you cant really say that they ever push the envelope. The way I see it, EA, Suda51, Capcom, MS Game Studios, Epic Games, Sony and other good devs out there have a far better chance at getting a perfect 10 than Blizzard. Blizz in consistently brilliant and take risks, just not big enough ones that tip them to the 10 range (like DoW2 level of risks).Anyways, back to 9.5 talk....Infamous has no chance at the 9.5. Im guessing 8.5-9.0 but definitely not 9.5.

So What do you think? Which upcoming games have a real shot at the legendary 9.5?

FFXIII always comes to mind but like you said it is yet to be announced for this year for the english territories.

You have Tekken 6 too, don't forget about it, it is a solid triple A franchise.

And I have a feeling Heavy rain might surprise alot of people, the potential of this game is so strong and I know it will be great.

Prime = The best possible state something can be in, which under most circumstances is perfect.

It's not much diffrent from the term perfect, so I don't see why anyone would bother trying to justify giving the best possible score, the perfect score, as 'prime' when it essentially means the same thing.

360 has no exclusives... anything good on it is on the PC or PS3 so I guess you made a good point I am Happy with COWSpot... :P

God of War III will probably get a 10, according to GI's big preview. Uncharted 2 and Starcraft 2 look like 9.5's IMOtktomo01

Since we're throwing out predictions, yeah, I think God of War could definitely get a 9.5. It just has to noticeably top GOW2 and hopefully include some real replay, like new survival modes etc.

Uncharted 2 will probably get robbed like the first one. I can see an 8.5 unless it's really long or presents some other modes, maybe multiplayer (I thought the first one would have been fun MP).

Alan Wake and Splinter Cell could both score above 9, but who knows what will happen when they finally release.

Tekken has done high 9's before, but I suspect a bare 9.0 for this one. Just a gut feeling, no real reasoning behind it except that the game is more or less the same as the last one.

I think Gran Turismo 5 has a really, really good chance too and I don't know if it's been mentioned.
